How are you currently approaching your prospective clients and what are you saying to them? Like Riz said, let us know the details of what you're doing at the moment and let's see if we can point you in the right direction

        Hi GSM,

If you are doing "cold calling" - you will need a proven script or a good "inliner/opening

You are welcome to PM me and get a few suggestions on Skype, and I will give you a headstart.

        kind regards, LASSE

        Hi,

Cold calling (unless you are very good at it) is probably the hardest way to generate clients. Business owners are usually inundated with calls from sales people. The majority of the time you won't even get past the receptionist.

It is very difficult to establish value through cold calling and is a technique i personally never use. Tried it in the past and stopped it very quickly.

        How to get clients?

There are many ways to get clients.

There is a specific way i have used in the past to generate clients. I do not use it anymore as i have enough clients coming through referrals. However, it is a method that you can use to build up your initial client base.

I will PM you later on today with some information on this if it helps.

        Riz

        EDIT: PM now sent

Have you tried business networking events? I get most of my clients from those types of meetings. In fact most clients come from referrals from businesses I met at networking events.

    Hi,

I am from the UK, too, and use a lead generation company for my leads.

I have no affiliation what-so-ever to this firm but they are called,

    Approved Index.

Google them , it's free to sign up and they send you qualified leads that have come to them looking for SEO via Google.

    I pay £15 per lead.

I'll probably get slated for recommending a services like this but I'm just trying to help!

    All the best,

    ~Russ
