Going Offline? Read This.

Hey guys

Lots of Warriors going offline lately, so let me give you this piece of advice, it can save you lots of money, time and headaches.

Learn to deliver results ONLINE before you go offering offline services.

There is no point in offering SEO services if you can't keep your own sites on top 10 for some relatively strong keywords. There is no point in offering consulting if you don't understand what a headline can do for your website or email newsletter. And so on.

I understand people try to get into offline cause they think it's an easy task, or they can outsource everything. But let me be clear about it: IF you screw up doing offline services, people will talk about it and you can ruin your chances.

Offline you need to be there most of the time, go to meetings, show your face, your personality, have lunch with customers.

That's why vast majority of people offering offline services has a REALLY strong experience in marketing, both online and in the real world.

So take it easy. Learn what you're doing before offering services in the real world.

Great points! I understand where you are coming from, learn some skills first and get some experience, but that can only take you so far.

I think there is nothing wrong with going out there and trying to help business owners in what you know already while you test out other services on the side..

You are always going to make mistakes... It's best to learn as you go!

Sounds great but how do you balance that with all of the wso's coming out telling everybody it's as easy as apple pie ?

Seems like a mis match of information going out to the people / on one hand every player wins a prize, step right up and pay your dime to the fiddler man / and on the other hand they are playing the Devil Went Down to Georgia
