My Offline SEO service has really taken off.

I have been purchasing all those offline SEO wso's and reading all over the forum about how to make it a success.

I decided to add my own little twist to it and draw in potential clientele by offering them a landing page for £100 a year as an intial deposit for the rest of the service, here is an example:

Man and Van | UK Removal Services |

What that meant is that they pay this upfront as part of the deposit and get the landing page immediately to use for promotional purposes. I put in on a keyword related domain name and then get to work local keyword ranking. Once that is done they can pay the rest.

I guess it is a way for people to not part with too much cash and a way for me to put that £100 into outsourcing and getting the landing page ranked.

What you think?

I think if you talk to 80% of bricks and mortar businesses their first question will be what is a landing page and what can it do for my business. Also bearing in mind many businesses don't have email lists and have poor/no website still.

    Hi

I think that is a great idea to lure them on board with the initial site. £100 is not a scary amount and gets them committed to you.

I like the landing page site. You did a good job.

Hope it goes well for you

I agree. I usually put em on Google Places to get them started off... and once they see results, then they're more open to any other related service I have like (SEO) webstats, website re-design, etc.

I believe Maria Gudelis does that (sorry if I'm mistaken), luring potential customers with smaller ~500$ services and then adding back-end offers.

Exactly the same process as internet marketing with people that have a 97$ front end product with a 500$ back-end offer.

Glad it's working out for you.

congrats, I just posted a bit of my big successes I have had this year. It is insane.

I was talking to another mate of mine who makes a ton of money marketing in Australia. I told him that even though the secret is old, I printed out this image below:-

The Secret Check - Print It Now

wrote out how much I wanted in 2010, signed it then dated it, put it and walked around with in my pocket. OMG i cant belive how good it works. Every time i was in a shop or found myself bored I pulled it out and envisioned this money coming to me.

(not going to say how much) but Am happy to say that I have surpassed the amount I wrote out, and there is still 2 and a half months left of 2010. I am so thrilled and excited.

The power of the mind is truely a very powerful tool. That is for sure, it is flabbergasting.

Your one step ahead of me. I've been reading up on offline marketing and am getting ready to look for clients. Thanks for the encouragement. Your method is sound: once you get a client to say yes the first time, it only gets easier from there on. I'll have to give it a go.

Good example of using your head here. Well done on taking action...be sure to tweak and test the price point....

I know of someone that lowered their initial deposit - stuck it on the end and had many more uptakes as a result....all about positioning the risk involved - low risk can often mean more action on their part!

    Great stuff!

    Thanks for the encouragement guys.

The landing page works even if a client has a website.

The client that does have a website then I simply say to them to add the link to this landing page.

The logic for the client is that the landing page should rank more quicker then their homepage and allows minimal requirement from them in modification [if they have problems with modifying their own site]. It also frees up the time constraint of coming back and forth with a client, of course if they insist on using their own website it would be a different case, however you want to push the landing page since it ensures commitment from them and a minimal income of £100 a year for you.

As part of the link building process I would aim to get them on Google maps as well as the keyword ranking. So potential to have at least 2 slots on the #1 page of Google.

Also I can use this same landing page over and over again for different niches since they are unrelated and will probably never cross paths.
