Is there software/website that checks to see if a website is in the local results?

I know there was a thread about ranking for google places for keywords.

However, this is about if there is a way to directories whether a website is in the following directions:

- Yelp
- Yellowpages
- Superpages
- Google , Yahoo, Bing Business Results
- Etc.

I work with a few clients and it's hard to know whether they are in each one unless I visit manually one by one.

I am thinking about creating a service that checks the top 30 directories for your website.

I wasn't sure if there was anything already in existence like this already.

Right now I use getlisted.org and amivisible.net . Not at in depth as I like , but gives you some insight. I need to hire a coder to search the top 60 directories for a local business. Let me know if you are interested in going on with me on cost. I have a great programmer in mind.

From my searches this is the best that you can find!

I am involved in a startup and this capability is something we are building in to the service as as well as considering creating a standalone app to find out a site ranking, Google Places ranking, and maybe now even these other directory listings as well.

Send me a PM if you are interested in this.

I guess you could automate a process whereby you created a search term + directory name to see if there are any results on that page, for example see here

Some scripting and scraping I'm sure could achieve this. I guess what I would do if I were going along the lines of using Google to search is create some sort of desktop app that I could input the company name, location and then have a checkbox for the site/directory I am looking for. Click "Go" and it will open up a browser for me with the search term inputted so as I can see at a glance if there are any results or not.

Might be a whole lot easier to automate the process though
