try something with solutions or performance marketing in the name; perhaps internet marketing, web solutions, etc.

If you are going to do business locally then create your business name around your locale name and your service. Ensure you can get an exact match domain. It makes it easier to rank for your site, your Places account will use your business name which are your keywords, and so forth.

Good! How about ParkEsolution or InHwanonline.. creating name is easy.. maintaining is harder

haha i like the play in words with my name on "walk in the park"

i have been very fortunate enough to have build an "offline" online consulting company... it just started by working for a few retail companies and i took part time jobs on the side making websites and doing social media marketing... and now its gotten build enough where i would like to form a corporation and run this full time.

i looked into a few names like eBrand Solutions, IHP consulting (IHP being my name) but exact match domains were taken... and this is where i ran into a wall. thank you for all the help i really love this forum and all the help i got from here. now i'm looking into using Latin or mixing words for my name and domain...

Thanks a bunch! and i'd appreciate your continued support and help ! if and when i do choose a name i'll post it here for you guys. you guys are great

Depending on how you will approach potential clients i highly recommend you do NOT include words related to the internet like 'e' 'online' 'web'.

Why? Many potential clients will jump to conclusions and not call or want to hear from you. To them you will just be 'another web guy' from the hundreds of other 'web guys' that contact them.

As you will not have had the chance to show them the value of your services they wil automatically assume things from your name.

I also don't recommend words like 'best' 'top' etc.

The easiest names will be related to your service but not obviously 'internet'. The best word is 'media'

      So:

      Parknet Media
      Park Media Solutions
      IHP Media Solutions

Simple and easy and not hypy or to 'internet' related.

      Just my 2 cents

IHP Media Solutions is very nice... might be a keeper.. thank you

also my ex-classmate thought of "Veritas Maketing Solutions" what do you guys think?
i fear it sounds too academic. Veritas is used alot in prep schools and such...

    How about

    "Be found Solutions"
    "Be Found Media"

Just some suggestions. It could go a long way because there are many ways to help a business "Be found"

    Or, try something with exposure.

    "Exposure media"

    Something like that.

Thanks James, for asking my question for me, and to everyone that contributed. I'm about to move from my j.o.b. to a local marketing model pretty soon, and am enjoying the start of it, even if it's only part-time at this point. I feel like I'm actually "helping" business with my service, small as it is right now - and it's a good feeling.

I started a few years ago with a "Compass" theme for a possible company, registered CompasseMarketing.com (didn't really like it), and have also since registered CompassWebConsulting.com and started putting up a site at CompassWebMarketing.com. Couldn't seem to settle on any one thing. I have a book that I'm putting together as a give-away to local businesses, so I had to have something nailed down soon.

Tonight I registered CompassMediaSolutions.com. I like how it sounds, know I can work and grow with it, and my "identity crisis" is now over ;-D

    Thanks guys!

    -Michael

I modeled after a few friends of mine that do alot of business with large companies like Nike, Tony Robbins, etc.

I went with My Biz name then followed it with Media Marketing. I also like New Media Marketing. But stayed with just the Media Marketing so it wouldnt be as long.

Congrats on picking your new name.
