Who to target first?

Hi Everyone,

I'm about to start my first cold calling campaign to businesses. The core thing that is holding me back is exactly which businesses to target.

I'm based in a massive city - London with many surrounding towns. I would like to have some kind of targeting rather than a scatter gun approach.

Any ideas to get me out of my rut?

    This may be contrary to all popular knowledge around this forum, but Id recommend starting with businesses you think you'd enjoy working with or are knowledgeable about. Finance and lawyers seem so boring to me

    Not that I'd ever turn down the work, if it came my way but it wasnt where I started. If I was in London Id probably want to work with local hotels or the haunted ghost walk tours, stuff I like and find interesting.
