Follow my journey to offline marketing prominence

Hello Offline Warriors,

I have decided to take the month of December off. I am gonna use this time to spend with my family and become a student of offline marketing. I have been on warrior forum for almost 3 months and have learned TONS. For the 3 months I have been on here I have earned roughly $1300 as a newb. This is amazing for someone new as I have seen several people who are now successful not make any money there first year. Recently as some of you may know I gained my first offline client by total accident and referral as my focus was Internet Marketing. Once I got the client and did all these things I found it was really easy. So I have decided to go from IM to offline. I am going to just stalk the offline threads and books and organize my go to people and get my ducks in a row so when the new year comes I will be ready to start my 100k campaign. Thats gonna be my goal for this year to earn that and I totally believe it is doable. I want you all to follow my journey as I am going to just be a student of this area of the industry to fully be able to educate my customers on the things that can help them grow there business and better organize my rates. I hope to get some great knowledge and meet more people on here to network with for my business. I have networked with a few people from warrior that I go to for IM stuff and I hope to get some for offline as well that I can outsource to as well as learn from. I will continue to post and read the forums and document my journey to start my 100k campaign starting Jan 2011

Hey man.... 100K is a short number. You might want to reconsider this... Unless you meant monthly. If you meaning yearly... You are selling yourself short.

I moved from OKC to Tucson last year. Oklahoma has a much better economical situation so you will find less bumps in the road there...

If you really want to bang out some quick cash... Stop reading and take action.

Don't take the month off. Just get to work. The more action you take... the more you will succeed.

If you want instant cash.... Buy The Telemarketing War Report and you will be well on your way to $100k. I speak from experience... Since I bought it... I have not made less than two grand a week. All it requires is a little action.

Offline on crack is a IN product. I would get a product from a real offline entrepreneur or higly skilled telemarketer/salesman...

May I suggest products of John Durham or Joshau Hayes. They are some of the greatest sellers in WF and their material are extremely good.

      regards, LASSE

Offline Crack is by John Durham.

John is a good friend. And it wasn't until I bought that report and joined the forum in my sig did I even meet the guy. Actually over at the forum there are several people that have had success and didn't have a product or skill to sell. Me being one of them.

I have other testimonials to my success in offline after reading that report. But the long and the short of it... I made over $1500 in two and a 1/2 days by following that report and connecting with the guys in the forum in my sig below.

Since joining the forum and actually taking action. I haven't made less than $2k per week.

        That is just my experience.

You can do what works for you. I just know that worked for me.

Don't wast your money on reports because most of them are garbage. If you already know SEO and how to get local businesses to rank oh Google you will need clients.

Getting clients is one of the hardest things to do for people who are new to off line marketing. If you are looking for a easy way to get clients check out the WSO. Only $10 and no its not mine.

Why spend a month just learning?

Why not spend that month trying to get clients and learn as you go?

Yes, in fact, I'm in Tulsa Oklahoma and we're doing some major launches with offline and online marketing in January... in fact, you may be interested in the free training I'm offering in December. PM me for details.

I think you're definitely on the right track by pursuing the offline sector.

IM is a very hard nut to crack. I've spent the past 3 years there (on and off) and made a little money (zero in first 12 months) apart from providing services to IM which has been my bread and butter.

I wish I'd moved into offline ages ago but then again I've learned a ton about SEO and online marketing in general so all is not wasted.

I agree with the overall sentiment here that you should just get out there man and start working with clients. You already know more than 95% of the business owners you'll talk to so just go for it.

I can highly recommend the offline marketing packs that fellow warrrior Kevin Koop puts out (latest one is a killer).

All the best with it man. You've made a wise choice,... now just work it!

      Cheers,
      Russ

Congrats on your success. I say go for it and learn as you go. The best problem to have several clients wanting your service and you needing help getting it implemented.

You will always be able to find people you can outsource to or build your team if you choose.

My suggestion is take action, read, take action, read, take action, read...I think you get the point.

    Goodluck with your journey

I am sure we'd be hearing many updates of great success, some learning experiences and times where you want to throw it in, just remember never to completely stop, always learn and use the experience to be a better marketer!

It's always good to set achievable and realistic goals, $100k is a great first milestone... however money will come when you are passionate about it, and are willing to develop yourself, I'd set a goal along the lines of becoming a pro on any given topic, follow that and I'm sure you will build 100k+

    Good luck,

Thanks everyone for the kind words and the motivation. I started my website last night and registered my business wolfpack marketing (what do you think?). Also I have started putting together a team on the site I get my outsource workers from by posting several different positions dealing with different services I plan to offer. I will be reaching out alot to this forum (offline marketing discussions) and hope I dont annoy any of you to bad with my silly questions but I am ready to do this. I purchased 3 WSO's yesterday and have finished all of them I am just gonna keep readng and learning and putting plans into action. My main thing is finding a plan to stick with that will work. Anyone willing to share or help me get the spark I need feel free to PM me always look forward to speaking with successful people in this area of marketing.

    THanks

I have a close working relationship with a local SEO guy, and he's in the process of expanding his business by partnering with another local SEO company.

Maybe you can look for another SEO company in your area who is already successful and offer to do one specific type of work for them. Firms with a lot of clients may have overflow and could use help. Of course, you may feel more comfortable doing this type of thing down the line when you're more established.

      Good for you.

      One tip:

If you've already had a paying client and made some money then common sense should tell you you don't need more information just more action.

Do more of what worked for you.

In particular the fastest way to get clients is usually to ask for referrals from existing clients, friends family and people you know.

Information can be useful but most of the people on this forum already have many times the information they need to make money.

If you invested the next month in just taking the time to talk to as many business owners as you can and get to know them and their business then after 30 days you will have most of the skills you need to get as many new clients as you can handle.

And quite a few of those business owners will hire you.

Investing your time and energy where it brings you the greatest return is probably the biggest key to being successful in business.

      Kindest regards,
      Andrew Cavanagh

        Hi George

Take not of what Andrew said in the quote below.

He practices what he preaches and definately "walks the walk".
