Tools that you need for offline marketing

Ok, Just got back from vegas last week, spending time with some of the best marketers in the world. Mike Filsaime's private event, what a great event! Anyway so I have a offline marketing business highriseelite.com which is running great right now! One thing I did to guarantee my success was create a system. This system took lots of time to create, but it is paying off big time now. My question to other offline marketers is what tools can you not live without? Or what tools do you think would help you out as a marketer? We see so many new WSO's almost every day offering offline marketing tools, advice, training...... which means that there still is a big need for them, and there must be something missing.
I know for me personally I have:
Training kit for my sales reps
Pre made landing pages
Direct response letters that convert like crazy (After lots of testing)

And many more. So what do you have that is working for you? Or what is it that you feel that you need?

Its funny that you say that Dexx, Most of the clients that I get all say the same thing.
(We get calls everyday from "SEO Professionals" And none of them actually take time to get to know who we are as a business) So yea its important to listen to the clients needs, and also understanding that its more than just getting people to the front page of google. When I first started I just focused on ranking my clients, then I realized "What now" My clients were on the first page getting traffic but not really getting the amount of business I thought they were going to get, so of course I start changing up my strategies. Now SEO is just the starting point.

What I noticed personally, I can only speak for myself and others that I have partnered with.
Most businesses focus on helping clients to rank, however there is so much more when it comes to marketing. I prefer targeted traffic through social marketing, PR, Direct response marketing leading them right to my clients landing page, then closing that client with a nice report that they can utilize to make money immediately. The problem that most people have that I can see would be the fear of offering to much valuable info for free, so they create a little cheesy report "how to gain more business in the blah blah blah" and the report is mostly fluff. What works for me is really giving them things they can do right now, make changes, and see results. By doing this they recognize that you really know what you are talking about, and you are there to help them. I always say "Put yourself in their shoes" If I were that plumber, what could I do right now to get more business, what would be my pain points.... When I find those out, that's the gold, and thats what I offer to the client for free. I always position myself in a way that they know for a fact that if they choose me in the future, I will bring them a nice return on their investment. I'm not a seo sales person, I consult with them, find out exactly what they are looking for, then go do my homework and present them with a nice package that includes (ONpage seo, offline marketing, social marketing, sales letters for the clients, setting up joint ventures with other niches that will complement my client......) I am there to make my client money, and my clients will pay whatever price I give them.

brazielr, for your direct mail letters. I have to ask - what are your conversion rates and do you tribute your sucess to the copywriter, or is it more (unique packaging, handwritten name/address,etc)

Direct mail can be made more effective with several follow-up phone calls and even emails. In this way you are actually subtely demonstrating the effectiveness of your marketing prowess.
