Quick Google Places Question

My client just deleted his Google Places account and asked me to create a new listing under a different email address.

After he deleted the existing one, I went in and started to create a new Places account.

However, after I enter the phone number, it says:
"The following business uses this phone number on Google Maps. Edit the listing for your business. You will verify ownership in a later step."

So I called my client to have him delete the "MAP" listing too but he did not see an option for it any longer (but he did see an option for "Delete Map Listing" when he originally went in to delete his Places account)

I thought "Places" and "Maps" were the same thing. LOL

Should I just continue with the new PLACES listing and allow it tie in with the MAP listing under the other account? Or will it interfere with the ability to create the new Places listing under his new email account?

I hope this makes sense... thanks!

just go ahead and create your places listing using the Maps one (they are the same, just renamed by Google) and change the email to the new one.
There was actually no need to remove the old one as you can edit anything in the listing except the phoe number without disturbing anything else.

      Hi PowerWealth!

I asked a question here before about whether or not I should delete his existing listing and was told that I should and just create a new one.

But now I know better (after it's already done LOL)

      Thank you so much!

I will do what you suggested.
