What is your average Customer Lifetime Value from your experience?

I'm trying to do a very basic sales forecast. I know the amount of business will depend on marketing and sales efforts and know what on average is needed to get a new client.

What I don't have are any solid figures on the value of a customer once they are in the door with that first sales. I have some projections figures for a potential business partner / investor but that is all they are I would like to validate with actual real-world ones.
