SoupyOne's 10 Day Challenge

Hey WaFo...

I've lurked here for a long time, but I signed up back in October and never got around to posting. I happen to take part in another forum with WF in the initials, but decided since there's a whole section dedicated to what I'm about to post here I'd might as well share it.

What I did was start w/ no money or contacts and show how to make money selling SEO services. The idea being to see how much money I can make in 10 days starting from squat. (I did $750 on day one.)

I'm going to link to the thread (which was read over 10,000 times in with tons of praise in a forum know for serious trolling) and let you guys have a read at it.

I'll be around if anyone needs any questions answered about setting up shop as an SEO.

A little bit about me: I own a pretty successful SEO biz with nearly 20 salespeople.

If this was inappropriate please let me know and I'll just curl up into a ball and roll away.

        Hey,

Just saw your thread on the other "WF" and am impressed.

I am curious what techniques you use for cold calling, etc?

    Hey Soupyone,

Just read your thread and you rocked it your first day! It just takes balls and action, even if you aren't the best at sales a blind squirrel always finds at least one acorn per day in the yard.

If I read it correctly, Soupy made something like 250 calls on Day 1.

That's what I picked up too. And secured 3 or 4 clients? I got a bit lost.

I'd guess some of those calls had a quick click hang up.

And he did admit that he cheated a bit too.

Having the right kinds of contracts in place and a thorough knowledge of what you're doing makes a huge difference.

I think a call could have been recorded if the voices were changed and the names, etc were bleeped out. That would be key for someone to listen to.

Really.... 250 calls in one day isn't very many....

Of course that is the luxurious autodialer kind of guy that I am.

If you are first starting out... I have a killer script with Solid rebuttals in the WSO I released the other day. Which I didn't release to make money off of. I just want to cover the cost of the listing fees....

For the most COST EFFECTIVE autodialer solution that i have found is Callfire.

    .com

Callfire lets you prerecord a message and autodrops if you get a voicemail. It can turn out 250 calls in a couple of three hours.

    No biggie....

So if you prepped a list in CSV format you could lock and load it in Callfire and be on your way to MILLIONS..... That way your not locked into any contracts or expensive fees.

The most effective route with call fire is $3 per hour of phone calls. And it can connect to your cell phone if you want. All you need is a high speed internet connection (wiFi is OK) and a phone. That's it.

I'm also just thinking that Tiger_Claw didn't make close to that number of calls on Day 1.

Thanks for the heads up on the WSO, Amir

Good stuff, I read through that other one also. I always stop calling after I get a couple of sales/apointments. You're more motivated them me I guess .

Mind sharing your sales script? All of mine are geared towards getting an appointment, I'd like to see how your pitching to get a sale right away.
