There's FB bots out there that can help you with this issue. Or, you can setup simple FB ads and drive some traffic to your fan pages.

    Hey Tony!

I can help you. There are actually a few different ways to answer your question here. Let's start with the Social Search/SEO part for your page. I am going to guess you are an Offline Consultant since you said "customer's pages". Remember there is internal (inside of FB) and external (google) search to address.

    The set up:

    1. TBK Formula: know your target audience, benefits of their biz and KEYWORDS first.
    2. When setting up the page make sure you chose the name based on that formula and if you are geo targeting (local or global even) use the location in the page name if possible (helps with internal search)
    3. Choose the right category! Makes a huge difference in how much and what kind of info you can put in the information tab on the page. Opportunity to use both keywords and links here and because this is a static page (and shows up on the sidebar under your profile banner) this is very important for the social search.
    4. Get thos e firat 25 fans and grab your unique username! This about the TBK Formula here when chosing --important for the seo too!
    5. Fill out the Info tab as completely as possible using keywords and links back to wherever your call to action, landing page or main info page is.
    6. Keywords in your updates. Use 'em!

Now for building friends and likes. Gotta keep in mind that KLT Factor--people connect with, share for and buy from people they know, like and trust--you have to build that. I am not big on buying likes or friends/fans but you can hit Fiverr.com and get that done pretty easily to get started.

    1. use the share button under your profile banner to share the page.
    2. Invite your friends to do the same.
    3. Tag the page in your updates so that the page goes more viral.
    4. Tell people what you want them to do in the updates (if you like this page or whatever the info was in the update "then share it or comment here" --you get--be nice too!)
    5. Make sure your clients are using all the tools possible to share their page--list it in their email, on their sites, on business cards and even in there shop windows if they are a local biz.
    6. Do a contest--I use wildfire--there are several strategies around this but it kind of depends on your clients biz, etc.

These are just some of these basics--hope it helps! Let me know if you need anything else. Also, keep in mind that the FB feeds do correspond with the number of likes and comments on the page so keep them up us much as possible.

    Happy Holidays!

Great advice there Tina! Thanks very much for that and the reminder that I need to revisit your FB WSO I purchased a while ago!

I was rather disappointed when I just asked my 200+ "friends" and got only 11 likes for my page (most of them family/friends that can't avoid me over the holidays) and was about to plead for some more to like me so I can get my custom url - but using Fiverr to buy a few friends to get me over that hump is just the thing I need and worth it to get the short url I think.

      Thanks again!

      Steve

Great fan page build ideas - groups also work as well as PPV/CPV Marketing -- CPV/PPV Marketing is God esp for fan pages or squeeze pages built solely to market fan pages (examples - feel free to add)
