How to present client a video and keep it private?

I'd like to do a video review of a clients website, showing how it could be better optimized with SEO. What is the best way to present the video to them?

Can I put it up on Youtube, but keep it private so the public can't see it? My own website (WordPress) isn't up yet, so I can't post it there.

I do have another website but it is HTML, not Wordpress. Is there a way to easily put a video up there keeping it private?

Would emailing it work or would it be too large?

Thanks,

DJ

Put it on your website in a folder that you password protect via cpanel.

    Give the client the password.

You can upload it to YouTube.
You can choose to keep it private.
There are two options for privacy.
    1.Have only subscribers view videos
2.Only view the video if they have the link

I prefer option 2 in a situation like this. If you go with option 1, other businesses could be subscribed. In the event that you create a new video for a different niche, the first business might get to see it for being subscribed.

Also, if you go with option 2, the video isn't public, and the business owner will only see the videos you want them to see.

Youtube would be the easiest route, just let them know the video is private and only they will be able to view it so as to not embarrass them.

Or you could use the Amazon S3 route to come across even more professional discrete (since not every business owner will know that the video review you posted critiquing their website is private)

But yes, an "unlisted" Youtube video would get you the result you want!

either use youtube and just select the option "dont show up in searches" or whatever its called. Just send them the link and only people with the link can view it.

Or use the free version of jing to do a screen capture and send the link after your done with your video. This is the fastest and easiest option since you wont have to upload it to youtube.
