Actual Social Media Consultant Ad on Craigslist

Here's an ad I just found on Craigslist for a social media consultant offering services for hire.

Ad headline:

Social Media Consultant For Hire - $1
Ad copy:

Social Media...facebook, twitter, etc. You know you need it but dont have the time and the what and how to see it through. I have 16 years of experience in the cincinnati market in media and advertising and am looking to offer this service to a few business' while still maintaining my current professional position. We can set up my pay on a per hour or per job basis and pay for service as you would a 1099 employee. Please reply and we can set up a time to talk further.

Care to place bets on how many inquiries they get?

My bet is ZERO.

What do you think about this ad?

That ad is so bad its going to get a negative response rate. What I mean is that if this person actually ends up writing another ad that is "good" his bad writing karma will still be in effect and he'll have to wait for the negative 20 to see it and not call before he gets his first call off the add. lol

    Did that make any sense?

That ad sure makes me feel warm and fuzzy and so "social"

He wants to get married and hasn't given me a reason to go out on the first date.
      Or even return his "hello"

It's like he's trying to seem understanding...without being understandable.

    ~Dexx

PS - I like how he values his sixteen years of "professional" marketing experience as being worth $1...hourly.
