Would You Advertise on Your Website that You Offer...

...website renting?

As far as I can tell, there aren't any local SEOs or Web Designers that offer website rentals and I'm going to try it as a source of extra residual income in addition to common marketing services.

Just wondering if this would spark unwanted competition or could it be good as a unique selling point??

Yes, I mean local SEOs and Web Designers are NOT offering website rentals under their "Services" sections. Just wondering if this could differentiate me from the competition as everyone has the same old same old?

I've just finished my first rental which is only page 5 for a competitive local term without anything but on page SEO...I wasn't going to pitch to local businesses until i have page 1.

But, in the meantime, should I list "Website Renting" under my services section and really make a big deal about it since no one else is..

i.e. "The First to Offer Website Renting in City Name"...

I'm sure if I sit down in a quiet moment I can come up with a list of benefits even without the stats yet.
      • already done for you
      • easy to remember domain name
      • no maintenance
      • maybe throw in some free business cards
      • etc.
Maybe have a sliding rate based upon page/rank/stats?? Not sure, just brainstorming here...
