QR Codes & Mobile Sites ... help...

I have a potential client who would like to possibly use a QR code for their local advertising publication.

1. Would the QR code open up to their mobile site, listing all advertisers?
2. They would also like to sell this service to their advertisers.

I've started researching this. I'm looking for a service provider for the codes and development of mobile sites. I do not need hosting.

If anyone can provide information on quality services and no 'fly by night' companies offering these services that would be greatly appreciated! Any long time warriors providing these services?

Any additional input is also appreciated.

There are any number of free qr code generators out there, and you can have them point to a URL. There was a thread on here not so long ago, maybe it was a WSO, about getting a custom qr code. You could get a qr code with your company logo in the middle, but obviously there was a cost. As far as mobile sites go, I have heard good things about Mofuse and Mobisite Galore.

Creating A QR Code is one thing but for clients you will also need tracking so they can see how their projects are going.

With the Tappinn platform you can track, create user submission forms to collect name, email etc. and build a mobile site. Build as many QR codes and smartsites as you want with social media integration. They got all I need for my clients.

I use callfire.com. It has fully integrated services for mobile phones including QR as well as a white label and affiliate program (through CJ). It works on all platforms worldwide, which is hard to find, although there are literally millions and millions of other regional/limited providers popping up.

Dans on to a good thing there elitementor. I've seen a bit and tappinn.com does make things easy, and the sites look fantastic. There is a free trial offer with a monthly fee thereafter. Create QR codes per page/product etc and get up to the minute tracking report. You can use your own domain with these sites. Failing that, if you're creating a wp site, there is a wp mobile plugin that formats main site mobile friendly. When some searching for your site via smartphone, they are automatically diverted to mobile site.
