How much are you charging offline for these work?

In the offline world, $70 for a video doesn't sound much. But between knowledgeable IM'ers and freelancers its sounds a little too pricey.

Can anyone here share with me what are you charging+$$ for these kind of work in the offline world.

1. WebDesign & Development
- Design, CMS, content creation, shopping cart setup, blog, forum etc.

2. Marketing
- Article,
- Press Release

3. Video Creation Service / Promo

4. Local SEO, Google places, Forum commmenting/ Link building

Others : please state others if you have more

Perhaps this post can be a guide in pricing the services, not to have some standards but at least, we know it is common pricing and common customers are comfortable with it.

Training Sector

Recently i met and talked with one of my neighbor, he has an IT and Networking consultant and handles a lot of training session for Institutions, in web design, portal, CMS - Wordpress, basic microsoft office training and a few others.

He charges student around $500-650 for these classes, 2 days work, 20-30 students in one session. (Logistics cost shared by institutional and trainer)

Note : IMer's here can provide these kind of training for locals in your area.

Monthly Recurring Income

Then, I asked him again, what he charges for institutions/client portal management. He said, they have some kind of contracts and he would do all the news update, portal management, and handles everybit of IT/Administrator work for his client for average $5K each portal monthly.

note : He scaled up his business and focus into providing ICT solutions. We IM'ers - create website, deploy and then works with new clients. Different models of business.

Is there Warriors here focusing in more serious and in depth Offline service like this?

This will be a good discussion (most warriors are expert in this - portal management, IT, CMS courses & training) and we might consider this for future niche expansion.

Local seo I charge about $450 to $800 a client Flat Fee. Now to most people here that might be cheap but I do get more work from the client so it varies with person.

Article marketing/link building that just goes under SEO for me and that will range from $700 to $950 a month.

I actually do not do video creation but I have met 1 or 2 warriors that I will use in the future to do so.

Webdesign development - that really depends on the entire scope of the project.

Hey Redcell, thanks for your share, the amount you charge sounds very reasonable. I'll be reaching our local market of about 50,000 households next month through a local ads service. (btw, I'm writing a report on this - to share the exact business model that made them recurring 50-84k monthly)

Local SEO and mainstream SEO is different right? One is one time and the other is recurring monthly. Thanks.

Can other warriors share what they charge for video. Maybe in the $150-250 range?

My current mode of business is more to sending 10-25 personalize business email to directors and HR of certain themed products or services company such as paintwork company - industrial, construction and so on to provide my services. Conversion rate 2-3%.

You can survive if the pricing is right. Thats why i'm trying to compare how much your offline client are willing to pay you for certain task.

Diver's sorry for not responding sooner.

For the most part Local SEO is a one time thing for me because most of my client's competiton will rarely go back and attempt to optimize their listing. So once I do my optimization my clients are good for a very long time.

As for mainstream SEO this is a monthly fee that is paid because it requires on going work and their is always new keywords to dominate.

I would look around the forms for video pricing because I have seen a thread or 2 talking about that.

This has got to be the most frequently asked question in offline marketing. Everyone wants to know what to charge. You must first ask what kind of value are you bringing to the client. Answer: (the only acceptable value) New business. Secondly: How much is a new customer worth to your client?

I used to have a long menu of services such as video, Places Page, website SEO, mobile, Social Media, Directory listings, web design, etc. I had all sorts of prices for all the different services. Unfortunately, it got to unwieldy, but more importantly, I was too focused on selling the service and not focused enough on the results for my clients. For example, i had a client who I got their website/Places Page to the #1 spot in Google. First page, first position. However, they were still not getting too much business so I re-evaluated their situation and added other web properties, social media and a complete website overhaul.

Now I charge one price. I do any of the above that works best for my client. My objective is to do whatever I can online to bring more traffic and sales conversions to my customers' businesses so I design a package that encompasses a lot of different things. I give it to them for one monthly price. I determine the price mostly by the competitiveness of their market and I will admit, I am expensive. That's because I get results. Not necessarily the kind of results you think. Not just traffic, but more business for the client.

I charge a range of $500 to $2500 per month. My average is $1000. It's too expensive for a lot of businesses, but so be it. If you do it this way, ask your client what a new customer is worth for them. If you have a real estate agent client for example, a new customer (where I live) is worth between $6000 and $20,000 depending on the neighborhood. If I charge $1000 a month, then they just bought 6 months worth of work from me. A good deal on their part, because every deal for the next 6 months is going to be profit for them.
