What are the services you have offered to business owners for offline marketing that would more often than not be a successful service to offer for the business owner and yourself?

I think he means services that both make you money, and make the client happy. For me, that'd be site design, keyword research, and landing page creation.

Let me try and rephrase what I'm trying to ask...I'm just trying to understand what services are offered that are achievable.

With SEO services, as we cannot make guarantees on ranking, I just want to get a feel for those services that we know we can provide with confidence, and what offline marketers have had most success with providing.

Sorry for the confusion, hopefully its more clear now.

  I offer my clients a better than money back guarantee. After the first consultation they wont receive another bill until they're on the first page of Google. I don't offer guarantees on any particular ranking position, just that they'll be on the first page.

I think the text service would be a big win for both sides. Newsletter generation, and delivery would be BIG in the health care field. The writing it would be the biggest part. When I say healthcare I mean small business not medicine. Think dentist, chiropractors, gyms, etc.

Almost 100% of my business is lead generation paid on a per lead basis now.

It's measurable, keeps the clients happy, and most times pays considerably better for the same work you'd generally be doing.. plus you own the asset (the site).

Client retention is easy... I've had the same clients for 2 years now. So long as you provide the leads, they really have no reason to go elsewhere.

I did the same for SEO service...you don't pay me until you are on the first page. Then add on bonus payments for reaching the top 3 and another for reaching #1. No risk for them that way, only on you. You just have to decide if its worth it for you.

I create the site, get it on the first page of Google, then rent it month-to month.
No contract. Quit any time. I own the asset.

  This is an excellent model Hugh... I do the same.
  
  Also if its a business that I don't yet have a site for, I create a video and get that to Page 1 really quickly (24-48 hours) to get them a presence there really quickly. Video is a very simple and effective service you can sell either as a stand-alone or as part of your monthly package.

I offer an app that lets clients send out instant specials when they are having a slow day.. it goes through multiple mediums email sms etc... this is the big winner for me as the closest is deal of the day sites... which don't bring in the same day traffic. I do offer SEO.. mobi sites, social media as well this is my differentiation.

I do what Hugh and sorcerer said. Additionally, I offer to help rank their Google Places and help with social media. I also offer them a free consultation on their website and will highly encourage them to make certain changes as it can effect how well their place page will rank. The key here is to offer solutions where you are not getting into a situation where clients control your workload. What I mean by that is if you do some re-design and SEO on a clients website and then a month later they do something you have to fix it or if you do something cool that they really like they may ask you do additional stuff. I try to make sure we offer highly valuable services which we control and not the client. I also offer guarantees for the client, where if we don't rank after 60 days then they dont pay. Hope that helps.

On another note, being a TAXI driver, is a successful offline service to offer business owners... Yes, very unclear question.

It will depend on your expertise. There are several services to offer. If your SEO skills are good, why not do that?
I basically provide mobile friendly web sites, QR codes plus their tracking and local SEO. Sometimes depending on the demand of a client, I undertake to redesign their websites, blogs and maintaining their social media presence. Now all of these are not my area of expertise so I outsource some.
