Radiused mailings

Anyone using this type of marketing successfully w/postcard offers ? I'd be interested to know what types of business it's working for

  • i have not done Radius Mailings doing B2B.... but.... with Consumer targeted mailers. It takes about 5 mailings to REALLY see the 2%conversions they suggest.

    It depends though... if you really put some thought into the mailer and personalize each one... I think you can do WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYyy better.

    I know it.... I am currently doing a mailer that gets about a 30% conversion. But it takes me about 1hour to do the research and preparation for each one.... Really....

    Once you get busy it's hard to find the time. So I am interviewing young co-eds from the college...
  • Radius mailings...your offer is the thing that will carry you.

    How bad do you want to snag a lead? ...a lead that will buy from you again and again when you continue to solve problems for them and give them service....a lead that will refer additional big money your way.

    Make them an offer they can't turn their head on.

    Postcard radius mailings can be done extremely low cost with the right mailing service...even moreso if you happen to know of someone with their own high volume mail business....like me for example

  • or get a teenager with a sign out on the street, and pay him 6 bucks an hour waving a sign and dancing. =)
  • I built an entire health care business off of postcards. It was easy, cheap and targeted. It worked great.

    • Seriously, I continue to do post card radius mailing for some of our consumer products such as smartphones, cellular service, long distance calling, home business services, satellite TV, etc. There are perhaps thousands of lead sources, but I like infousa.com. The response rate hovers around 1-2% which is considered profitable for us as these are residual customers.
