Paypal Nightmare. Help or an alternative for receiving payments

God it's hard enough signing up clients and when you get one he can't pay thanks to Paypal.

He has signed up to Paypal added his card which has no debit and 10k credit but when he trys to pay me he gets a message 'you need to add money to your account'. Jeez the whole idea with Paypal is you can pay using a CC. He has phoned Paypal and they say everything looks good and can't offer any more help !!!. BUT HE CAN'T PAY !

Anyone experienced this ?. Of course he can add his Bank details but that can take ages to verify. He is in the USA and I'm in Spain. Doing a Bank transfer or currency transfer will cost him or at least take several days or more.

Can anyone offer a solution to the Paypal problem or SUGGEST AN ALTERNATIVE where I can easily take card payments without it costing a fortune.

    Are you able to accept creditcard payments through your paypal account? 'Cause sometimes that might be the issue.

    I'd check anyways, you never know. Just call paypal from your end, and ask them if there is something going on why he can't pay you while at his end everything seems to be okay.

    He shouldn't have to have a PayPal account to pay.
    If you have a "Buy Now" button with a link going to your PayPal account, there is an option to pay without having an account.
    Just go this route, and you shouldn't have a problem.
