Generate 50+ Leads a month using CL: Could be a WSO!

I've been putting together a really cool way to generate 50+ leads
a month using a full-time employee in the Philippines.

Here's what I do:

Step 1

I find two people on the Manilla Craigslist by posting an ad
on under jobs area and describe that I'm a US based company searching for someone to do lead generation for me.
craigslist: manila classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

Pay starts at $150 per month full-time and includes training.

Then, I ask them to give me their info such as Skype, email,
Paypal, experience related to lead gen and Craigslist.

Here's my exact ad I ran on Jan 7th.

http://manila.en.craigslist.com.ph/web/2147186761.html

Then, I tell them they are fighting the job with another person and I will make a decision after the first month to release or keep them.

You can decide to keep them both or drop them both still, but they will work harder for you knowing that.

Step 2

I purchase a few PVA Craigslist accounts. Possibly 20.

Then, I send them to the following page for training.

Using Craigslist | Rhino Web Consulting Reviews

Once they are trained, I give them a document with the Craigslist accounts and let them do their job while monitoring their results over the first month.

Step 3

Close the leads that come in!

Step 4

Redo Step 1 to hire more help to expand the process if needed.

Oh, by the way, you can get all the videos done for you already over here by Liam Martin.

Be careful. It's against the TOS and CL has been cracking down hard. There are quite a few lawsuits pending because of things like this.

Keep it a small operation and you should be fine. Of course you are not supposd to be contacting leads off craigslist so you have to minimize the risk. That's why he buys many accounts.

Not exactly sure what you are saying here. Are you saying CL doesn't allow you to post ads like this to get leads? I thought that was the whole purpose of placing ads like this in the services section.

They allow you to post up your ad in the services section which what I am doing.

However, you can't post the same ad more than once so I modify each ad for each city to have it accepted.

The VA will be doing the following

        - Posting in the services section twice a day in each CL account. (I could have 30 PVA's at once that the VA will be logging into and posting different variations of my ad)
        - Giving me a daily report including any questions that may have came up.

I dont have a lot of money, how much would it cost me to get a va to do this? assuming i can purchase the pvas kinda cheap?

Yeah, I would recommend starting out small and having only a couple posts a day per PVA account to avoid each account getting banned.

Private Virtual Assistant was my guess...so what do they do? What kind of leads are they looking for? Any kind of leads? Even people looking for a Baby Grand Piano? People who want to buy a 3-wheel Mail Truck? I don't get it?

Thanks for the thread but I have a few questions

1.) What exactly does your VA post? (if you don't mind sharing, if you do mind then thats fine with me)

2.) What is your conversion rate from the 50 leads?

3.) What is the price range that you are doing your services for ?

Hey Luke, I'm sorry about that. My friend suggested that site to me for Craigslist. I actually haven't used this one.

Try doing a google search for "Craigslist PVA"

PVA Shop - The best Craigslist PVA
Home | Craigslist Phone Verified Accounts for Sale
    http://www.craigslistpva.org/

Hope that helps. If anyone has a trusted Craigslist PVA source, please post it up

Here are some untested websites I've found:

    The pvas are about $50.

    The VA is $150

Altogether; that's $200. Charge it and make your money back by the end of the month

If the $200.00 is something you can't pay without making sales this is horrible advice.

      Don't do it.

Really, don't do any of it. The whole thing violates CL TOS, which is not a good place from which to build your business.

If you are looking to outsource, post an add in the jobs section of your local craigslist for commission only sales people. Offer $100.00 per sale. Use the free advice on these forums to create training videos. Make them generate leads and close.

yeah; a VA can be used for a few other lead gen methods; not just Craigslist.

It can be done using google maps, facebook, yellowpages.com, etc.

Just create a system and teach them what to do.

The best PVAS are owning or renting the actual phone numbers and have them forwarded to your phone number.

PVAS tend to want to get reverified.

Question: Are you running your VA's under proxies? They are in the Islands... Also are you using a posting tool like CLBOT?

It´s one PVA per CL ad, correct?

On what scale are CL ads done...meaning, what is considered a small amount (10ads per day)? medium amount (30 ads per day)? and a massive operation,(+100)?

And lastly, how many CL ads can a VA reasonably manage in a day?

      Thanks

I'm looking into using proxies. I haven't yet.

I bought some PVA accounts and then CL wanted my VA to reverify after one post. The proxies may solve that problem along with getting a bunch of numbers forwarded to one number.

Numbers are really cheap now like with Magic Jack and you can add numbers on. You can also get numbers for free with Google Voice.

CL def makes it a challenge.

I wonder what is the quality of the lead you are building here... I mean... craiglist lead... sounds like short term lead. why not work on a system where the LEAD comes to you, instead of scrapping "leads"?
    just my 2 cents

This could still work without all the Craigslist hassles. You could have the outsource workers locate and post on relevant forums and blogs. Also have them locate and post on free classified ad sites.

Go even further and have them do initial contacts with current website owners. This initial contact could be an offer to show them how to improve their site and boost their revenue. This is a goldmine for those who take action. More than sure Ryan can attest to that.
