YouTube and Your Clients

Rosalind Gardner just had a "how to" video on affiliate marketing removed:
My First Ever Issue with YouTube
I immediately thought of offline businesses who are mainly posting videos selling there service - they look just like an advertisement. Is Google going to ban them too?
Personally, I'm thinking this only affects affiliate marketing and MLM.
Thoughts?
