Facebook TOS state that you cant start a new or separate account to place ads. How do you go about it ? Do you place them from your account or do you ask the client to provide you with the access to theirs personal profile ?

I dont know how to go about this since I have a few of my first clients now.
Thanks

I would NOT place them from my own account. This potentially puts you on the hook for the ad spend. If you are allowed to open a separate account for placing ads, get your clients to open a new account that THEY fund. This will protect both of you. The Facebook ads account doesn't have to have any actually FB content or usage. It's only for ads.

interesting... I only use mine for my personal business. I haven't actually signed any clients with FaceBook viral marketing. I have done a few pages for friends. But for free, and on my account.

Hmmmmm..... Thanks for the heads up.

      BDM,
What do you mean The Facebook ads account ? Is that an account created by Facebook for this very purpose or your just referring to having a client register another random account only for the purpose of placing ads (which goes against FB TOS) ?

Definitely would only open/use their account. May do some training on using the ads (screen capture). But after that, it's up to them. Would for sure leave my contact info. Because they are going to call back not wanting to deal with it - or just being confused. Opportunity for a recurring charge. May even offer to share the reports via screencast video (jing).

    Thanks for bringing that up.
Talked myself into some great ideas. LOL!
