Have you tried contacting a business broker? I hear them advertised on the radio all the time. You can also try posting it in craigslist, as well as taking out an an ad in your local newspaper.

I sell diabetic strips now. However I am trying to figure out where my buyers are selling them. This is one business that has me stumped since I can not seem to find any information on the internet to let me know where the real money is being made at. Any information would be much appreciated

Wholesalers buy them on Ebay and wherever else they can find them. They turn around and sell them to pharmacies. I can't imagine there is a lot of margin there. I make 300% markup selling to the wholesalers. I can't imagine they are making more than 10 or 15 percent, but then some of them deal in massive volume. I've had a couple of people approach me and ask to sell to them exclusively. I just put mine up on Ebay and they're gone within an hour and usually within a few minutes.

Hi, I am a wholesaler of Diabetic test strips, glucose meters lancing/lancet devices. I sell only factory sealed full case straight from manufacturer such as Abbott, Roche and Nipro. Since I see that you are selling your test strip business I'm hoping that you won't mind answering a quick question for me. I have been trying to get started in the buying/selling of diabetic test strips but my results have been very disappointing. I had set up a website and did some facebook and backpage ads but have had very few sales. I live in a city with over 1 million people and wondered if maybe offline marketing was a better idea. Was just wondering where you had the most luck with your advertising to purchase test strips. Was it online ads, seo, newspaper ads, flyers, or something else. Thank you for your time.

Hey are you still buying test strips? Did you figure out any marketing methods that work? I just started doing it and I guess if you think about most people that use test strips are older and probably not computer savvy so off line marketing would be the best. What city are you in? I would like to share marketing ideas for this. I have made around $800 in the first 3 weeks I have been doing this so not a lot of money but a good start.

Being a diabetic myself, I'm kinda curious what would be the reason a diabetic would buy from an online source?

Are yours significantly lower in price than a Walmart or similar retailer?...just seems like such a commodity product to try and make money with online?

You need to consider your audience. The people selling these are poor. Very poor. They're not on the Internet much. Most of them can barely keep their prepaid cell phone turned on month to month.

Marketing that works for them is an ad in the Pennysaver, bandit signs everywhere (hundreds) and flyers. Get some business cards and hand them out to people that sell to you. Offer a referral bonus of $5 to $10. Good luck.

I am very new to this forum but not new at all to the business of Diabetic test strips. I have been running this business now for over 2 years. We do on average about 70,000 boxes of all major brands. If you are serious about your inquiry, please feel free to contact me. We are currently distributing nation wide in USA as well as overseas. Hello to anyone who might still be following this thread! I'm sorry to say that I had my assistant post this and apparently she forgot to check it! I'm also not receiving any notifications when there is a reply to this, so either this is not an option on WF or I don't have the right setting set.

So I plan on getting back to all who posted asking questions by the end of next week. I never did sell my business. I've had conversations with 4 people, but nothing yet. However, we are still working it. We will pass the $40K purchase mark this month for the 1st time. That's not profit, but the profit will be good.

I will say that the bulk of our purchases come from people who responded to our newspaper ads. We've had 4 running for a long time now. We've gotten hundreds and hundreds of customers from the ads, but we have found sellers in other ways too.

try selling them on international market. they will haggle with price, but if you are decided to sell them right away then that is one option
