Thought you guys might appreciate this - Frank Kern Face Book Ad hit today

Hey Warriors,
Just wanted to share, marketing is marketing, and now i am seeing a pretty
lame ad running on Facebook for Frank Kern. His picture with the following text

Heres Franks Facebook Ad Copy
Morbidly inappropriate marketing video by Frank Kern reveals why he's the highest paid internet marketing consultant on earth

~I find it rather hilarious, as this is not the same type of approach i believe opens up doors to big business, bigger deals, or even the Mom and Pop business. It works in the IM niche, but i dont think elsewhere.

What are your Thoughts or Opinions.

To your Continued success,
Robert

I think he's bull****ting about being the highest paid, for one, and it seems he doesn't understand his targeted demographic for who he is showing the ads to and also his copy.

The answer to whether his ad is effective will be answered by how long it stays running...

In every reasonably sized city in America, there is a guy in jeans with his butt crack showing, possibly with hot dog chili on his shirt from eating while driving... he runs a small construction biz, and drives around in a pickup to 2 or 3 dusty job sites daily with a cell phone, to check on his crews, making sales on his cell phone and arranging quotes while driving down the road ... and he cranks out 30 mil per year.

I wonder if he knows he's considered like a "guru" or sumpthin'?

My ex father in law had a leak repair business... that did high pressure steam leaks for paper mills... and did 5 mil per year with 4 guys and two trucks. He just drove back and forth between jobs and arranged more sales quotes... a paper mill can have up to 50 or so high pressure steam leaks occur per year so he only needed a few clients. They were calling him all the time for quotes.

He passed away several years ago, or else I'd be selling him a website today But I was fortunate to spend a few months on the road with him going back and forth from those jobs, watching him conduct biz in the truck...

Story time uh oh! I'll make it quick!

I watched this man one day decide he was gonna quit working for his leak repair employer, and start his own biz, and start getting his own contracts...

So, with a beat up tool box, beat up tools, and a beat up truck... and no more paychecks coming, he quit and went out and got his first small contract, then another... within just a couple of years he had contracts with 3 different paper mills and was grossing 5 million per year.

What an honor to have witnessed. Rest in Peace Jim Norris.

      Im out. Sorry to hijack!

My dad owned a little greasy-spoon in a tiny city here in Minnesota. One of his regulars (came in 2-3 times per day) was one of the dirtier people you would ever see. Didn't look like he ever showered, wore the same 50 year old flannel shirt and looked like he cut his hair with a broken Flowbee.

He is the biggest land owner in Minnesota and certainly has more money than anyone could ever expect to be able to spend in several lifetimes.

Franks cool and what he does is always pretty interesting.

    I guess time will tell.

I watched his internet address to the nation the other day and rolled around laughing. I am not sure if he meant it but saying continuously he didn't know anything was just like watching a politician stumbling through a speech.

Sorry Frank I hope this was your intention.

Of course it's his intention, that's his schtick, to be a "slacker surfer dude who makes millions (and you can too if you just buy this next course from him or his buddies)"

I've taken the class, and have to say that it's really incredible stuff.

Sure some of it sounds schmarmy, but the reason you probably didn't get the offer was because you wouldn't have been likely to take action on the stuff they are teaching.

Selectivity is the name of the game here, and more marketers could stand to benefit from incorporating it into their strategies.

I have a bitter taste in my month about people like Frank Kern and his buddies, so I won't thrash him in this thread personally.

However, his marketing methods are gimmicked and hyped, circle promoted, and he's kind of ridiculous. I think if you use him as your idol or role model in the IM world, you won't make it far - nor make any real friends or connections, at least those that have positive impact on your life, morals, or your success as an existing human being.

As Charlie Sheen might say, this guy is not "continually winning in and out of every moment," etc...

I am sorry to say but Frank Kern had become a very lengthy fluff standup comedian.

He makes a lot of jokes, insults, talks about cocks, but there is no meat, nothing there beyond his standup comedy performance

I take it you don't like his "Pen Island Marketing" logo?

Kern reminds me of guys who make it to the top of MLM companies. They say their system is easily duplicated, but you can't duplicate their charisma or ability to close a sale. No matter what you think of him personally, you do have to admit that he is a 99th percentile salesman.

Who says you can't learn to be charismatic or a great salesman? You can.

so interesting to listen in to a thread like this. Half (25%) of the posts know what Frank Kern does and can, have, or could benefit from what he teaches. The rest of them are not in the league and cry "sour grapes, sour grapes" etc.

Hilarious. Funny. If you look from my perspective. Depressing if you look from the sour grape guys' perspective.

This is to say: you can't see beyond your own limitations.

When you say "someone is a smart marketer" you mean his iq is about 3 (three) higher than yours... cracking up.

Sorry if offended, but someone has to say: wake up dude, you are delusional...

Call it "How to make Millions by copying surfer dude marketers"

You only need blond highlights, shoulder pads and tight jeans.

Then, it's not a $7 special offer, it's a book that makes you rich!

I like Frank, he knows his stuff. He is larger than life person, and he does not care whether someone will get offended or not with his jokes. Have you ever heard Gary Halbert talking?
Frank made money not only with IM products, he always offered 100% money back if someone is not satisfied with his product. He decided to stop teaching IM since he does not know how to say differently things he already taught in his previous material. Quite honest I would say. Regardless, Frenk made few millions and proved himself. We have not, so let's focus on that...

I've seen these Frank Kern ads running for many months now but the ones I saw were not actually being run by him. They were leading to another persons website just using the image of Frank Kern in the ads to get some added attention.

So they may not actually be run by Frank Kern...

I'm just totally turned off by him and his lip smack and indecency. He comes off as arrogant and disrespectful. As an IM and MLMr, coming from the corporate world, I would never hire him. That's just me.
