The fastest way is really a 4 stepper-

- Select the specific service that will be your lead -in or getting your foot in the door.

- Select the target market that will be the lowest hanging fruit FOR YOU- how /where do you have influence, access to this group

- Approach and engage your target audience -by leading with what results you can deliver for them- via the delivery of your specific services

- Close, deliver phenomenal, measurable results- get their testimonials and referrals

This has worked well for me with my Custom Fan Page designs services.

I think there really needs to be a separation of effort in our industry. Folks who may be superstars at helping a business rank within local SERPs, may not be the best at the sales game. The reverse may be true as well. If we could organize a movement (see the thread for this proposal here), we could establish a group of 'sales systems' to streamline the sales process AND folks could specialize in what they do best. Marketers could market online and sales persons could sell.

I think many in the biz Start FAST.... But then get discouraged and move on. Im not sure if "Fast" should be the goal... I know that the Fastest way to get confidence and experience is by starting with say a family member or friend with a biz and helping them get their phone to ring... Whether its seo, GP listing, FB page, etc. Then, the rest kinda comes together with each client.... But it might be more like a slow and steady learning process.

It's going to be an informative time, for sure. Anybody who is on the fence about starting the "Offline" business needs to attend as well as those who are checking it out. I am going to talk about some quick ways to get clients and what do do with them once they raise their hands and say, "Tell me more."

Most of my offline clients give me far more than a typical IM would receive. I'll touch on that, too.

I missed the webinar.I woke up at 2am(my time) and i saw that it was programed for 4am,got back to sleep and i couldn't hear my alarm when the time came

I dont know if anybody else is having this problem but i tried to listen to the recorded seminar and i keep getting this machine gun like noise that doesnt really stop. so basically i cant hear millard. millard can u fix this as i have seemed to miss both live presentations and would love to hear your presentations.

Technical glitches hampered the second webinar and we shut down early on. Working on a pdf that will cover the high points.

Couldn't get the rat-a-tat-noise off the recording, so am working to edit the file to just get the meat and potatoes.

While my main business is an offline local business, I do not do much off line marketing anymore because it's not cost and time effective for my business anymore. Practically all my new clients now come from online search or referral from existing clients.
