Merchant Circle recently surveyed local businesses and got 8,456 responses to some questions that can be very valuable if you're working as an offline consultant.

You can get a very good feel for the overall state of the business community with answers to questions about ad budgets, what they feel their best ad options are, what they're already doing, expected to do soon, etc.

    • Steve, it just shows that businesses are seeing the power of Facebook and also seeing results.

      As far as the phone calls, I guess maybe it's all those John Durham threads and WSO's promoting Cold Calling. It also gives an idea about the competition that's out there. With all those businesses getting contacted though, it makes it so we need to be able to stand out from the crowd.
