Can Linking to Fiverr hurt your credibility?

I've seen several business and marketing consultants on fiverr offering opinions, etc for a fiverr. Do you think building up a list of positive feedback on fiverr and then linking to this from your offline business website could hurt or help your credibility when trying to get new clients? i.e. for social proof of your work ethic? Will prospects wonder why you are charging a couple hundred dollars when you're willing to do something for 5 bucks?

I don't quite understand this question my friend. I've never heard of fiverr before, so i don't know what that specific service provides. Is that like a direct online e-mail marketing service, like AWeber perhaps?

Absolutely it will hurt! If you want to use it to generate testimonials fine, but copy them, don't link to them. The only people I'd promote fiverr to is IMs, never a customer.

Why don't you put up a testimonials page and include your testimonials from Fiverr? Linking to Fiverr is going to create the perception that your services are only worth $5. I'm sure that's not the perception you want to create.

I like the idea of creating a testimonials page and putting the testimonials on that page without mentioning fiverr.

Does it matter that only the username is shown from the person giving the testimonial? i.e. no full name, state, website, etc...

I personally like Fiverr quite a lot. I had a script I wanted fixed and none of my outsourcers would touch it for less than 50 to 100 dollars with a lead time of a week. A guy on fiverr did it for $10 to fiverrs and had it done in a day.

This has actually happened more than once.

I released Mobile Website Tutorials a week or so ago and got a another person to do some back linking and already seeing some good results.
