Dont stop hustling, grinding & working hard! I got my first client...

Yup, I got my first offline client. $500 a month for the next 3 months.

It wasn't easy, but it can be done. I think alot of people on here and other places make it sound super easy to make money offline or even online. But I never found any of it easy...and I feel I have a great grasp on the tools, technology and techniques of the internet.

One of the difficult things for me was that while I am American, I actually live in South America...thus making it hard to go door to door in a US city. I also have had ZERO luck with Craigslist...from job listings to contacting people under services, and most of the other popular sites people mention here.

My advice is simple: keep working hard and smart. If something isnt working for you, try it in a different way. Just because one method or product or idea is working for one person, in one city, don't assume it will automatically work for you. Maybe you will get lucky and it will, but maybe it won't. I have had to constantly be creative and try new ideas/things to find what works for my personal strengths, weaknesses and knowledge.

So keep hustlin', grindin' and workin' hard!

    Nice work!

I landed my first client about a month ago and remember the feeling. Just keep after it! FOLLOW UP with people you have talked to that showed interest. I had two guys I had given up on and called them this morning and have an appointment with one this evening and the other one wants to meet on Friday.

Keep following up until they tell you to stop/they're not interested. They're busy, they lose your number, they forget, whatever, just keep after it!

    Remember this...

Always try to impress your clients. Go above and beyond to complete their task. Throw in some free things. Remember, this could, in the end pay off with a nice referral. I've had numerous clients refer me. Word of mouth travels fast.

Thanks guys for the support...but the real reason I posted it was for encouragement for those of you struggling out there.

I am NOT a guru or anyone special...I havent even made much money from it yet...but it's a start and its my little toe in the door. Basically sometimes I wondered if anyone was being honest when they said they were making money on the internet...I just felt maybe they were lieing to hype something they were selling.

I could have given up many times over the last 11 months. I initially started in the Internet Marketing world to promote some travel products I create. But soon realized the skills I had taught myself actually had value to a much larger market...the small/medium/large businesses of the World.

So what ever your target or niche or idea is...keep working hard towards it.

(My first client is someone from the States...they dont actually know I am not in the US. Between skype numbers and email, there is no reason to believe I am not actually there. Its not really an issue either because they know I am not in the city they are in.)
