Getting Potential Clients but Need Help Closing Deals

I'm finally building up potential clients and getting a lot of interest in my services but I need help closing deals. I'm in the process of trying to close a deal with a doctor who needs help building a Facebook landing page. He's aware of how important social marketing is for offline business I quoted it could be done for $400 and he was happy with the price though, he asked for some samples. I showed him some samples of blogs and websites I've done.

I've never built a FB landing page but have created landing pages for websites so it shouldn't be too different. I just looked it up now and there's tutorials online of how to build one. I can always outsource it but that's a bit of gamble as you want to make sure you give the task to someone competent enough so you don't get an angry phone call from you client.

I need some assistance closing this deal, or should I even close it? He'll work with someone else if he's uncertain about my abilities, who will probably charge him a lot more too. I really need this money because I'm going through a bit of a rough patch right now.

I suggest you look in the "Warriors for hire" section of the forum where there are plenty of people offering custom made Facebook pages.
Get some portfolio examples from them and make a deal for revisions etc. Take that to your client.

Thanks for the quick response and suggestion. I don't want to leave him hanging or waiting too long for my reply. Just sent him my reply with your suggestion, I'll keep you posted as I can tell I'm close to closing this deal.

Should have remembered the Warriors for Hire section, always a good place to go for help.

If you wouldn't mind sharing with us, I'd love to know how you're going about getting business owners interested? I'm just about to get started, and I think I have information overload, so many options that are working for different offliners. Just curious to see what's working for you?
I'm seriously considering doing the video site reviews.

    Thank you,
    Tracy

      Craigslist.

I'm posting ads simply stating my service and if they're interested than they can email me. The people who are contacting me are already pre-qualified because they get the power of social marketing for their business.

I'm not at the point yet where I feel comfortable cold calling businesses.

Thanks John, that's what I'm thinking of doing once and if he writes a check or payment is received. Once that happens than I'll outsource it to someone here.

He hasn't replied yet, he might be thinking I'll have to give him a call to follow up if I don't get a response by noon tomorrow.

I have another client who I'm supposed to meet with Thursday for an ecommerece site (which I'll also have to outsource) but she hasn't responded what time she wants to meet yet. I cant deal with flaky clients right now because I need money this week.

As we say "Time to piss or get off the pot". I will tell you what a winner would do, IF in fact he really wanted to do offline. There is no shame in saying "this is not for me", and doing something else.

He would stand up straight, take the "General" stance (commander), and find someone to do the page (there are obvious ways to check references) . I would have an outsourcer within thirty minues, and call the guy back and say "Yes". (Confidently) " we can do this and have it up for you in 24 hours".

Then I would go look in the mirror and thank God for delivering the opportunity I had asked for, and also bow to myself and say "Well done. You are in business now".

Your call... do business? or NOT do business?
