Would you be interested in this service?

Would you be interested in having someone create videos from articles? I am going to go on a limb and say that you are probably already creating (or having someone create) articles for your client to submit to article directories. I am considering providing this service to offliners. I am just trying to see what the interest is before I launch this. Also what would you consider paying. I'm thinking of charging something like $20-$50 a video. This would include submitting the video to video sharing sites.

Fiverr is a crapshoot. You can go through 50 dollars in a heartbeat just trying to find somebody who actually can do what they claim they can do.

say I go through $50 to find someone who will do it for $5. That person goes in my outsource rolodex. Say Deanna is charging $20 per article.

    Cost after 10 articles:

    Deanna: $200

    Fiverr: $50 first article $45 next 9= $95

    Fiverr wins.

I'm not trying to be mean, or stomp an idea. I'm just saying what and why I would do. Don't play a player. If you know it can be outsourced cheaper, so do we. Unless Deanna has something worth twice the cost at ten article (and growing to four times the cost) the people likely to be repeat customers will go straight to source. Her quality would have to be phenomenal, or she had something they couldn't offer.

That having been said: offering integrated Press Release and Supporting Video w/ submission to local media sources and vid share sites to offline clients could rock. Ask $120-$300 a pop. Submit the article to local blogs, radio, TV, Newspapers and Magazines Do it directly, don't use one of the assign online sources. Build relationships with the editors to create a real sustainable buisness. Link the video in your press release and submit it to video sharing site.

It's the same widget, but with a better target market and higher perceived value.

Thanks for the constructive criticism, WillDL. I'm a big girl, I can handle it. I'm brainstorming ideas for this concept so nothing is written in stone. I like the idea of submitting the article to local press.

It's too much high budget. I think it should be $10-$25 a video.

      Hi Deanna -

I don't think that $25 - $50 for the services that you would be rendering would be too high at all. I mean after all - you're writing an original article about their business or services, then converting it to video and uploading to various video sites. I doubt if the pet groomer down the street is savvy enough to do it themselves or even have the time. Plus they have you to turn to for other online marketing strategies and ideas. If you are doing this on a local basis, your client has the comfort of knowing who you are and how to get hold of you. Don't underestimate the value of your time and the services that you are rendering.
The 50 bucks or so that you might charge wouldn't be much, (if through your efforts) brought in multiple new customers for your client's business. Best of luck to you - Michael
