Let me apologize to you WSO owners. With all the mix of different information out there, it would be good for the WF members to get the correct information. I am only trying to get the correct answers for the members of the WF. I would like to have an easy to find thread for G-Places questions and answers. I will collect the answers and the most industry standard answers will be posted below.

Question 1- You just got a client that already has a G-Places listing, that has 4 citations and the 7 box positions have between 10-20 citations. Do you claim the listing and optimize it with Category, description, photos, video, etc., then build citations, or build the citations then claim the listing and optimize it?

Question 2- You just got a client that doesn't have a G-Places listing. Do you create one, then build your citations, or create your citations then create the listing?

Question 3- Do you use your Google acct. to create the G-Places listing, or do you create a new gmail acct. for each new client?

Question 4- Do you use a gmail or example@domain.com as the email and does it make a difference?

Question 5- When you make changes to your clients G-Places listing, how long does it take for the changes to go live?

Question 6- How long does it take on average for citations to hit the G-Places listing? Providing your citations were created exactly as the G-Places listing.

This is a start. I would like to add more questions, so if you have a G-Places question, send me a pm, or email me at sconlinemarketingatgmail.com. I will then add it to the list.
