Does this work for citations

I have seen this in the WF, and was wondering if any of you do this or not. List your citation urls in the additional details section when doing your Google Places listing. Does this work or not? Does Google not like it, or is it ok? Thanks

  • never heard of doing this; it could work....

    Google should be able to index them automatically if you have the same business name, address, and phone on all the other directories
  • It sure works, but, but, ummm!! Not sure how long lasting this will be.

  • I never thought of this. I just added my Yelp and Insider pages to it.

    • I will save the precious time for all of you and tell you that Google doesn't care at all about your Additional Details. If you want, you could put the hardest spam ever there and it would still cause you no troubles (at least at present - March 27, 2011). I saw that Brian Anderson was giving this advice in his WSO, and it was one of the things listed there that currently do not work.
