I had a dentist in the Uk contact me today through my offline marketing website, wanting seo for his website - nothing strange there.

BUT, I had a look at his site and did some keyword research yet, he seems to already have a FULLY optimised Google Places listing that is merged with his website and they sit at position 3.

He asked me specifically about seo, I replied and he wants me to cost up some recommendations.

Why would he want seo?

I was thinking about targeting some other terms for him such as services he offers ( not a huge market - one he could benefot from gets 320 exact searches a month) but was instead thinking about upsells.

Mobile website
Qr codes
Promotional video
Social media presence (twitter page, FB, Linkedin (already has Youtube)).

For the mobile site - just 5 or so buttons that link to contact, about, special offers, directions etc.

I can then use this in conjuction with an offer he has on and then link the code to that specific offer page. He is on a busy(ish) shopping street so he could have a shop board or similar with a post on it outside saying "scan the code for 10% off x".

What should i charge a dentist for a 5 page mobile website? Was thinking £450 set up and £49/month?

If I charge monthly, should I then host the mobile version on my website? http://practicenamemobile.stephenholmes.co.uk? Would this effect mobile search?

Again, need help pricing qr code.

He seems to be ok with his seo but if he is asking for seo help, maybe he isn't happy with his online marketing results in terms of customers. He needs a form on his home page too, so I can help him KEEP his customers through email marketing.

I think it is best in this scenario, to give him a list of services I think can help his business and say all of this will cost "£x"/ month but you can hire me as your online consultant for less than whatever x is per month.

That way he gets all the services that will benefit him for a discounted price, or am I being over zealous? lol

The seo part has thrown me, what else could I provide for him?
