Best place to find people with too much work?

Hey,

I wanted to know where might be the best place to find people that are simply overwhelmed with offline work and need to send their clients elsewhere?

Been doing it for a while but I know many people have clients that they turn down because they are simply too busy.

Go to your CoC (Chamber of Commerce) and call up every web design business around town. Ask them if you can take the owner out to lunch and pay for everything yourself. Talk about what your business and what you guys have in common (nerd stuff). At the end, or towards the end, mention he can send anything he can't handle your way as you're looking to get a better presence.

Contrary to popular belief, in cities like Vegas people are not afraid to refer clients. Especially when there is most likely a referral bonus.

What you could also do is have an agreement to send clients over to one another for complementary (not similar) services. For example, if you're a graphic designer and you come across someone who needs SEO work, you refer this person over to the SEO firm, and the SEO firm refers people needing graphic services to you. This is a win-win type of scenario, and something you should explore with complementary service providers.

    Alright thanks man.

I appreciate it, I would of course give a % of the referral value.

What type of work are you talking about...

Let me understand something. You are an OFFLINE marketer
and you need to refer your work to someone who can help them?

I don't understand what you're looking for here.

You could build your own networking club for web designer and then you'll find some.

Networking clubs sounds like a good idea, keeps the work within a certain group.

Yeah I agree with you. It's all about connecting and networking these days to make it works. Also curious of what type of business or service do you provide?

That sounds like me! I can't keep up with all the Google Places leads I get. I have some companies I refer out to but may need to expand my referral network. Eventually I want to refer everything out and only do sales and marketing.

I'm also thinking about finding a REALLY good and VERY reliable VA.

But you don't say what type of business you can help people with.

So share your skills or what TYPE of business you can help people with and you may get better answers.

I am able to do any offline work required by clients, not just graphic design. I am just inquiring where might be a good place to find people that need help with their overwhelming work and wanted a referral % instead.
I wasn't looking to give work to anyone at the moment since I can pretty much handle everything that comes my way(I work about 16-20 hours/day)
    Thanks for the answers.

Yes we want to know specifically what type of offline services you provide.

When I think offline work I think Google Places optimization. Are you highly skilled at that?

Others might be thinking design or SEO or whatever.

This is what really irritates me about web designers they call themselves marketing consultant but all most of them do is from a marketing point of view is create a website/facebook/twitter/blog make it look really fancy and then say to the client now you have to generate the content.

But also I though of an idea with my area is I get in contact with some web designers who have no interest in marketing and do a JV so they do the design and I do the marketing sort of sub contracting both ways in a way.
