Text Messaging Services. Which one?

Okay, I'm so confused on finding an SMS platform, do I build my own or do I go with some other company? If with another company, I have yet to find white labeling features that are inexpensive.

I've been looking into Yeez, which seems to be a multi-tier commission based program as well.

It has a longcode number instead of short code, and allows for unlimited text messaging but pricing is based on subscribers.

Now... anyone have experience with this service yet?

If you have ideas on other companies let me know. Also, please post pros and cons of a service if you know them. Thanks

BTW, need to be able to work with multiple businesses (so I guess multiple lists?)

It would hard to do it yourself. The short code runs from $500 to $1,000 a month to have and you'll never use it to capacity so better to hop on someone else's program. I discovered it's hard to find them, even searching for pretty focused search terms. You'll also want the full back end to manage the programs for your clients or let them do it. Not sure about Yezz, whenever you have multiple levels of commission (MLM style) the endproduct is too often just too pricey for the end client.

I can hook you up with the program I use. If you send me a PM I'll get you some info.

I have been doing research into this too for a few weeks and haven't been able to pick one that really stands out.

I have talked to Chris (on the phone) @ Yeez mobile and I like their service. Of course, I have watched Adam Horowitz with Local Mobile Monopoly and the sales page and videos are great. I would use my own website as oppose to his for branding purposes. I also saw a product by Mike Weir that looks interesting too.

I'd love to know people's honest opinions on what services are working.

No, I'm not active with SMS right now but am looking seriously at it. During my research adking seemed like a great deal.

Unlimited texts means you pay a fee a month to have it.
    T-Mobile is $15 dollars a month
    Verizon is $30 dollars
    Cingular is $20

i know sprint has it but i am not sure how much it is talk to a representative they are usually very helpful.

  • Check out AvidMobile - they seem to have some great SMS white label services. A friend of mine is currently using them and seeing great results.. I think it's easier to go with a company that offers white label services opposed to starting your own platform.. that's way to much work. Might as well leverage someone else's business and just collect the checks, right? I don't think Avid Mobile's white label service are too outrageously expensive..check them out and let me know what you find.

Well one thing to keep in mind the cost of starting a white label reseller will be for the most part cheaper than developing and creating your own platform once you factor in not only how much you will have to pay your developers and engineers but also the time that will be needed on your end to choose which features to develop for your platform. Keep in mind this is an ongoing cost as new features seem to launch every month so you'll constantly have to improve your platform, whereas certain white label reseller programs like Trumpia provide month to month updates as part of reseller program.

What is White Label? I've also been searching for an SMS company and was looking at Yeez as well. There is so much info out there, it's hard to know where to begin. Jenny

White label means that you can rebrand the companies software, in this case the backend text messaging system, as your own so that your clients wont know you are reselling someone elses system.

I myself use avidmobile. loving them so far.

White Label is the ability to rebrand and resell a software without having the OEM company's information anywhere on your reseller platform.

For example, RestaurantTexter is a demo white label website of Trumpia Mobile Marketing.

I've been selling SMS texting and other telecommunications services through callfire.com for over four years. It works seamlessly across all platforms and carriers. They do have both an affiliate program as well as white label options.
