First success for my first client.

So as some of you know, I have been working on an e-mail marketing campaign for my first official offline client. I sent the first e-mail today, and got some decent results so far.

87 opens, 44 bouncebacks, 5 unsubscribes.

But the part that I think makes this a success is this.

"Hi,
Where is this located at?

"Hi Xxxx,

The store is located at XXX X. Xxx in Holton, KS. If you are interested in visiting the store, the hours are 10am to 4pm Monday through Friday but Rose does open for appointments to make it convenient for you.

If you have any further questions, feel free to reply as I will be checking this e-mail account throughout the day, and should be able to respond within an hour or so.

"Just called Rose to see if she had a dress that size. She does have a large selection of dresses in store, but also said to tell you she can have a dress custom ordered in 8 weeks instead of 18 if that would help you.

If you want more specifics about what she has available, you can call Rose at ########. I will be glad to continue corresponding if that is what you would like, however I should let you know that I am Rose's friend and marketing consultant, but not an actual employee of her company, so I don't know all the details on her stock and inventory. I do know that she has agreed to give a discount to those who are on this e-mail list and I can issue you an early print of the coupon once the amount is decided on to help you out.
