How do you contact fanpage owners via PM?

I was doing my usual research for a new client and thought to myself, hey I just had lunch yesterday at one of my favorite places, why not go on facebook and see if they have a fanpage right?
By the way I design fanpages for my clients, and I have yet to come across anyone that has said no to my offer/proposal. Anyway I went on fb, did my search, found their fanpage, but of course it looks just as ugly and generic as other pages. Ding, ding, ding, money maker opportunity for me ya?
So question to you guys, how on earth do you contact page owners? I know how to contact anyone from their profile and send them a private message, but is there a way to pm page owners, without posting my proposal on their walls?
