Attention Newbies: What Do You Struggle With Most?

by Dr Dan
80 replies

All of the people on this forum have been in your shoes. I was there not that long ago myself. Buying just about every WSO and Offline Marketing Product I could find. Actually at that time There really wasnt any WSO on Offline Marketing! Heck... This section of the forum didnt even exist! Dexx had to start a whole new forum (Offline Gold Forum) just so we could talk shop and share ideas! So I understand your struggle guys and gals.

So I wanted to dedicate this thread to really hearing from you guys to see what you struggle with and to offer some friendly tips, strategies, and advice to you all. Obviously other Warriors will be here to offer there support and expertise as well. Ask any question and I promise not to laugh unless it was meant to be funny

How can you sell to someone without meeting them?

If you have to meet them, you can't even sell to someone in different state, let alone different country than you

Focus is probably my biggest limitation. This forum has so much to offer its very hard to know what to focus on.

Also how to spot the 'real deal' from the quick buck.

These are my two biggest stumbling blocks at the moment.

I had the same challenge and still do from time to time. Think of the warrior forum like a gym or fitness club. You wouldnt hit the gym 24 hours a day every day right? You would kill yourself. Even more than 1-2 hours a day 7 days a week is too much! Dont spend more than 30 min to 1 hour at most in here and take a full day break here and there.

I didnt start getting busy with clients until after I stopped buying and reading things on the forums.

You can spot the real deals from the fakes usually from their attitude, post count, interactions with other members, and for me, I always look at thier own personal site. We had a guy on here that stole thousands of dollars from a WSO he didnt even finish and then disappeared! Everyone was listening to him like he was the messiah!

But my BS radar was going off, because the site he was using for his own business site had like 2 stock images of a hot air balloon if I remember correctly and a cup of coffee? The site didnt have any real content on it and it looked like a crappy affiliate site that was created in 5 minutes by a kid in pre-school. jk... but it did look like crap!

The guy was claiming to make hundreds of thousands of dollars on each client but he made his own site like that? He could have just spent $100-$200 in the warriors for hire section and they would have built him an awesome site! I got one of mine done from Semmy here for only $99 (now he charges $200).

I am not saying they must have a perfect custom site. But it should at least look and function like something we would set up for our own clients. I use woothemes for my own personal sites, but I still have my first consulting site built with flexx theme that I need to update when I get time.

Take into account all of the above when deciding who am I going to listen to. Its like finding a good doctor or dentist. Takes a little research and intuition.

Your welcome and to answer your question. It is all about trust, perception, and attitude. If you are perceived and trusted as the expert, then they will buy from you whether its in person, on the phone, or even by email.

Does that mean that you must have a big website that has a huge portfolio of work you have completed and glowing testimonials? No... Will that help? Yes... But I have a ton of clients that have never even been to any of my sites.

First off I would read my blog post here on becoming an instant expert and take action on it if you already havent already: Instant Credibility Boosters | Offline RockStar Academy

Don't forget to comment on it once you completed at least 1 of the steps.

Next I would build a list of testimonials if I were you if you dont already have them. You can offer to do a few quick facebook fan page setups for local businesses, create a free video using animoto, or something like that.

Start with friends or family that own businesses. Alot of the time by offering this free service, they will hire you on the spot for more!

      Dude..........
Sale is easy than writing your own ebooks. So do efforts for online business rather than to writing. Its my opinion.

It would really depend on what the subject and topic would be on? Personally I write all my books without writing. Just take some quick notes, then record yourself talking as if you were doing a webinar or workshop, then have the recording transcribed and you got an ebook and an audio to either sell or give as a bonus for buying the ebook.

Your welcome and I could also recommend meditation if you are open to it

I wasnt open to it many years ago, but I met some amazing people on my travels. One of them is Guru Singh (Tony Robbins introduced us a few years ago). He did a little meditation with a few of us and we did some energy type work called Deeksha and I have been hooked ever since. It opened a floodgate of creative juices and helped me focus and write 4 books in just a few months! I only published 2 so far.

I have an online blessing site that has been blessed by Deeksha givers all around the world. You can check it out at The Blessing Page It is one of my first sites using my mac and it is on my list of sites to update one of these days.

But it has a few guided meditations from my friend Guru Singh as well as one by Deepak Chopra.

My biggest challenge is about decision making and learning all necessary technical stuff to succeed in my business. For example, I have to know SEO (which is #1 in my opinion when it comes to essentials when starting online. SEO = visitors/customers. I spent two month studying SEO and I think I got it. Now I have to prove it by making my own site and ranking it high enough for my visitors to notice it. My goal is always become #1 in Google. I would never choose a niche where I can't achieve number 1 position.
Then, I need to know how to setup a blog. I watched few tutorials about that before, and I still don't get some of it features. However, I should be fine doing all the basics... The tricky part is maintaining your blog. I'm new to this and for now I have no idea how I will pull this off. I need to organize, put all links in the right places, update frequently and hope for the best. I have never done that before and I don't know what to expect. It seems that there are too many unknowns. All of which is constructed of small decision making (selecting theme, posting acceptable content, organizing in a good manner etc.) If I choose a wrong decision, then my whole business can be destroyed. What if I work hours upon hours and do not achieve my end goal/result? What if I'm not knowledgeable enough to succeed in online business? I understand that trial and error + figuring out things along the way is common for everyone, but not everyone succeeds. I do not want to be the one who fails. I'm entering a business that I'm new in... haven;t tried it before, so do not know what to expect. I guess the biggest challenge is facing the fear of the unknown...

I feel ya on this! It is bringing back memories of when I started.

Here is the thing... You dont need to do all that to be in this business! Dont try to be a jack of all trades like alot of other try to do and burn out. Pick 1 or 2 things you are really good at and focus on that. I made the mistake of trying to do alot of services and now I am going back and letting alot of my clients go because I can take on more clients doing the things I enjoy and I am good at. and guess what? I make wayyyy more money doing it this way! So far I have a handful of clients paying me a total of more than $2000 a month for local marketing.

Now alot of the offliners here will look at that $2k and say "who cares I make that on one client!" But here is the thing, That is all on autopay and hits my paypal account every single month! not to mention it only took me a few hours to set up the clients once and I only invest 5-10 minutes a month every month after that. So I am making $2,000 a month doing less than 20 minutes of work a month! That is just my monthly and I am signing up new clients every week. I also get paid for setting up simple blogs at between $800 to $1,700 each.

The best part is I bought wp-twin clone and cloned all my blogs I already created. Now I can set up a clients blog in just minutes! $800-$1,700 for just another 30-40 minutes is not too bad.

So just do the things you are good at and enjoy. You can always outsiurce the rest of the work here in the warriors for hire, elance, odesk, scriptlance, etc.

My biggest challenge is basically the fear of taking action..I have my business set up and ready to go (besides the 800# which will be activated instantly from Kall8 once I purchase it) but I'm having trouble erasing the doubt that business owners will actually see the value in what I'm offering them, so I keep putting off *launching* my business. I'm supposed to be starting monday

The doubt is normal. It is a fear that has been with us since the begining of humans. It was developed to protect us. If a bear chased us, we had to be fearful and run or it would kill us! So the goal is to not turn the fear off. The goal is to take the action even when the fear is present. It will never truly go away.

All through my life I was fearful of standing in the front of the room at school to do things like book reports or anything that involved standing up and having people look at me. Heck... I have even read studies where more people are fearful of public speaking than they are death! Thats crazy! But it is true.

So I went more than 25 years never speaking in front of a group. Even in school I just took the "F". But then one day when I was in a Network Marketing business I decided that enough was enough and took action when an opportunity presented its self. The guest speaker didnt show up to one of our weekly events. So when they looked around the room and asked if I could fill in? I said, "YES!" I didnt allow myself to think about it, I just did it.

Ever since that night, I have spoken at hundreds of events and even got on stage with Tony Robbins and over 5,000 people in the audience. Is it because I overcame the fear? Heck No! I still get scared ever damn time I speak at an event. I just got better and not listening to it and just doing it!

I have a book I wrote called "RockStar! 45 Lessons to Be a RockStar in Your Life, & Make The World Your Stage!" and one of the lessons I go over is this "Leap first and let the net appear!" this means to just do it and let things work out the way they are meant to be. Whether you call it the universe, god, budha, or just plain destiny! It doesnt matter. Just take action and dont listen to that fear. Unless a bear starts chasing you... Then make sure to run!

I'm one of those people who fear public speaking waaayy more than death..I could of finished college with a 4.0, but let the teacher drop me a whole letter grade so I wouldn't have to give my power point presentation lol so this whole talking to clients on the phone is *scaring* me. But I am going to just do it and take action. I keep convincing myself I'm starting a callcenter job! lol Which is pretty much how you could look at it. You're making follow up calls to business owners, act like you have a boss *watching after you* and your life (bills) depend on you keeping your job. So we'll see how it goes

Nice and I know what you mean. I am going to release either a WSO or a freebie (I want to give everything away for free) on getting clients with cold calling soon. But dont forget to create a few ads on craigslist and backpage for your services, call and email people on there looking for someone like you.

also when you call business owners (cold call) be sure to not talk about your services, instead offer them a freebie as a way of introducing your local services. This drops there guard and opens them up to what you can offer them. Most of the time they will either give you more business, refer someone to you, or at least give you a glowing testimonial that you can use to promote yourself.

I checked out your post on becoming an expert in clients eyes. Very interesting stuff. My new question is this. Where would I display these banners?

I dont have a personal site (yet) and it doesn't seem to fit on my other two sites (webhosting company and an outsourced web dev company). Any advice here?

Your welcome and I could also recommend meditation if you are open to it

I know the feeling on the crazy thoughts! That is why we are all in this business. because we have the minds for it. We are all creative beings.

As far as where to use the branding (banners) use them where you feel appropriete. It really depends on how you are presenting yourself to your clients. Use it in your email signature, use it on your consulting site when and if you create one, use it on your business cards, use it on flyers or handouts, There are plenty of ways you can use it.

I personally would even put it in my email signature for all my emails (personal and business). Why? Because you never know who they know or if they own another business.

Dont try to come up with the perfect plan. Just take action and do it.

My biggest problem is "taking action" as well as it was mentioned a few times already.
So many products come out these days. Not enough time to implement them.

It seems if you find one area and spend time building it up without quitting that is how to get best results. The Products are the Shiny objects people chase without putting real effort into anything. Good Luck you will do good

I'm strugging trying to figure out marketing a website I just started. I have outsource some work but thinking about doing more, while trying to promote it

You can only study so much. Not to mention if you looked at Doctors and education. They go through schooling and then practice medicine. But every single day they are coming out with new discoveries. Imagine if every Doctor waited to learn everything before they started practicing medicine. We would have no doctors!

          Study and then take action!

I studied this business alot in the beginning and still do a little each day. But after taking massive action I have developed strategies that get massive results only because I took what I learned from others and took action! Now I have my own systems. Do the same and you will get the same results. That is why so many new WSO come out.

I'm strugging trying to figure out marketing a website I just started. I have outsource some work but thinking about doing more, while trying to promote it
It all starts with keywords and search phrases and choosing the right ones. Then its either backlinking, using social media, bookmarking, and authority sites to boost your sites rankings. I have some really cool strategies that I have been on the fence whether I should release it as a WSO, membership site, or something? But it is so simple that anyone can do it and I did a video of me taking my client from 0 results on Googles first page to over 11 first page results in less than 24 hours! She is a local realtor.

Here is a screenshot of one of my other clients and I get all my clients these results for a monthly charge of $200 to $400 a month.

Obviously I had to blur the links and search term since I had some people on another forum contacting my clients the last time I put a image like this on an open forum.

if a business makes hundreds of thousands per year in profit,

shouldn't we charge at least $10k for website and SEO?

why I rarely heard folks here charge $3k or more?

not yet having self-confidence? don't know how to convince client? the market rate for web design is only hundreds of $$$?

    what is #1 reason?

Businesses will usually pay what they can afford or what they see value in.

If you are going after a hair stylist then more than likely they will only be willing to invest a few hundred at most for web design and less than $200 a month on any SEO or SEM. They are only making $10-$100 per a client depending on who and where they are servicing.

Now if you target a large company like a fortune 500 then they are making millions, then they will be willing to spend even more. But they tend to go with big name marketing firms in my experience.

I am sure there are plenty of people here that do charge the higher amounts and target high end clients. Personally I like the smaller niches like Painters, Realtors, Mortgage Brokers, Hair Stylists, Plumbers, Locksmiths, etc. Mainly because everyone else is fighting over the Dentists, Chiropractors, etc. This is the low hanging fruit.

Easy to get and fast to service. They are happy to pay $100-$400 per month and dont ask alot of questions and call you daily for advice.

In the beginning I went after all the clients and now I am only going after the easy ones like the ones mentioned above. That way I am also percieved as the expert in that field. Thats why I do events for Realtors and Mortgage Brokers, because I am perceived as the expert and they all want to hire me. I even created a whole separate business model for them specifically.

At the moment I have 2 websites that I am working on and over the last six months I had been struggling with spending more time with my blog and website. I have set some urgent action plans and have decided that 3.30am to 5.30am everyday and spare time when I can fit it in is the inspirational hours where I can quitely focus on.

So time has been my struggle but I have come to master this by planning ahead or the experts will say Time Management.

If that is a question? then I would first ask what is your blog and website targeted to? Also I have alot of friends that are offline marketers and dont even own a website or blog. So dont spend too much time working on your consulting site.

I would say that more than 80% of my clients have never even been to my site.

You are also correct on the best creative times being 3:30am to 6am before the sun rises. Yogis teach this and that is why it is important to do yoga and meditation during these hours. This is how I created all my books. I used 2 hours a day during that time to finish them. This is also how Deepak Chopra writes about 2 books a year.

Also if you look at the root of the word "Confidence". It comes from Sanskrit which is an ancient Indian language that over 15,000 of our words come from. It means to Confide in ones self (rough translation). Meaning that you believe in yourself and trust that you have the answers and power to achieve what it is that you want to achieve!

Its funny because there are so many repeat questions here on the forum that have been answered over and over again.
    Like:
    "How much do I charge?"
"How do I choose the right keywords?"
    "How do I get clients?"
"What are the best type of businesses to target?"
"How can I get clients without calling or visiting the business in person?"

I think part of the challenge is that their are just too many opinions here and you never really know who is making it happen and who is just talking the talk and not eating there own cooking!

That was a big challenge for me starting out here, too many people just trying to peddle crap that didnt work and was not tested. I remember one thread on another IM forum that is probably one of the top threads with over 2,000 replies and still growing after 2 years and the OP gone. He was promoting the rent a site formula and it sounded good. He talked about how he was making $1,200 a month for each site renting them to 3-4 dentists each. But the red flags jumped up for me when I saw his sample site that consisted of a crappy wordpress default theme that looked like a 4th grader created. Also he was promoting his affiliate links to 2-3 paid services like SE Nuke.

But it is funny because if it wasnt for that thread I wouldnt be doing the rent a site type model successfully today. I didnt learn much from that thread other than that model existed. Today 90% of my business is using that type of a model and generating me thousands per a month on auto-pilot in my paypal account!

I used to think my not-so-fluent English with non-native accent is going to hinder my progress until my first prospect actually asked me on phone if I am from England because I sounded like an English LOL!

My problem currently is the closing deal part as I am targeting businesses in the states due to various reasons though I live in England. So I am still unsure how to build trust and credibility as prospects will not be able to see me in person.

I am wondering if some free browser-based screen sharing/teleconferencing solution such as Vyew is going to help in that aspect.

My another problem is not having enough time as my full time occupation as a full time student is draining me big time. Many here suggest cold-calling and after some experiment I do find the response to be better than just mere e-mailing but the time factor is becoming an obstacle for me to continue stuffing the pipeline. So would love some advice on more effective methods such as tips for cold-calling.

Its funny because I just got a PM with a similar question. If you are in a different country then you obviously cant just go in and visit the location. So you can use skype to share your screen with skype users you are marketing to. You can upload your slides and screenshots to slideshare (free) to take them through a presentation if you like as well. I have done these both for out of the area clients.

I always prefer calling over just emailing prospects. I prefer to actually do both if I am taking this approach. First I email them and then I call. That way I can let them know I sent them an email or info of what I can do for them. I usually have screenshots in that email of what I have done for other clients as well.

I have a friend who built most of his business using this approach. For me I still prefer to use the referral techniques that I have perfected over the years from past businesses.

When cold calling it is important to not try and use a script. Instead create an outline of what you want to say. Because no 2 calls will be the same. You must be flexible and not sound like most of the sales calls that resemble a robot.

I also have a few threads here where I talk about giving away freebies to get clients that work like magic. I also wrote it on my Offline RockStar Academy blog here: My Site Is Now Search Engine Ready! | Offline RockStar Academy

Thanks for the advice and tips. Useful.

My current plan is just as what you said, first email followed by a call. Then as I get clients this way will ask for referral by offering $50-100 per referral.
Or is there a better way of doing it?

P/S: Hopefully I will be a doctor in 2 years time if I pass all exams

Good plan. But I tend to notice that most clients get more value if you offer them a bonus or free service if they send you referrals.

But I do have a buddy that has a client that prefers $100 per referral he sends his way.

The way I get my clients is a little different though. I find people that want to give me referrals for free because they also get business from it. So it is a win-win for both of us without needing to pay any fees.

I do plan on releasing this strategy soon because it is the most powerful client getting system I have ever seen.

I dont waste my time making cold calls or emailing prospects anymore because of it.

I've been lurking for a little while and finally decided to sign up and get involved. I've researched these questions before but usually get confused and can't figure it out.

    1. How do I set up by business name and make sure to have the "right to a name". I've read the stuff on SBA but still as clear as mud.

    2. I'm using homestead while I'm starting out and am getting "educated" before I spring on some customers because I would like to know the basics before I jump in. If I'm hosting, say a realtor's site, wouldn't they need to update the content pretty regularly? How would they do that without me giving them all the info to the "behind the scenes" stuff?

... I hope I'm not one of the one's you laugh at. I have loved the information I've learned so far.

Welcome to officially being part of the forum. Don't worry too much about people laughing at you here. Most of the warriors are here to help. Especially in the Offline Marketing thread. Some of the other sections are not as nice to newbies in my past experience.

      1. Personally I just started with a paypal account, chose a company name and then bought a domain name. I started like this first because too many people get caught up in the process of, should I do an LLC or Corp etc. Get a little cash from some clients and then pay a professional to advise you on what to do. Also I chose this approach because I like to change names alot in the beginning as I am deciding on what I want to use.

      2. Realtors are going to be alot different than most of your clients because they want an IDX to allow people to search the MLS and also they want to add properties that they list. Its kinda a pain in the butt to learn in the beginning.

I would not use homestead starting out, you might as well learn wordpress from the beginning. It doesnt take that long to learn and you can find hundreds of tutorials on the web and youtube alone. You can even hire warriors in the warriors for hire section to build custom wordpress sites for your clients at around $200-$400 each.

Trust me on this. You will end up creating a few sites with homestead and then come back to wordpress and wish you started there.

I use woothemes for most my sites. I like the Inspire theme the most.

But for my Wordpress 1 page sites I use a theme I got as a bonus. I am working on getting someone to design a theme I can offer to everyone here. Should be done in about 3-4 weeks.

I am not a medical physician, so I cant administer a flue shot or check your prostate

Just make sure to set it up right from the beginning to reduce the amount of time you need to spend with each client. If you dont create a outline of what you are offering, then they will want the whole world for free.

Now I tell my clients that for $300-$400 a month they get such and such service which includes up to 1 hour per month of basic support. Any more than that is billed at $30-$80 per hour depending on what needs to be done.

This has lowered my emails and calls to about 90% less.

I couldn't agree more, you really have to put your foot down because there are some demanding clients who'll try to suck out all your time with phone calls and consultations, thinking that they're "entitled" to it. Not every client is like that, but some are, and this is precisely why guidelines need to be set!

lol.. this is so true and I am letting a couple clients go this week. Seems like they all called and emailed me while I was launching my first WSO. I guess this is a good excuse to fire them.. haha.

Some ate just too damn demanding. I am going to start requiring that we go on a few dates before I take them on as clients from now on.

I was thinking about putting this into the warrior from thread to someone who posted - Attention Newbies: What Do You Struggle With Most? - and my messaged would be this :

I am new to warrior forum and I have recently created a product to build a list to start amateur marketing with.

Where I am now is that once I get a substantial amount of emails I will be able to use that to my advantage to start making money online. I have created my site to have an opt in page and a 2nd opt in page once they try to exit.

Once they sign up for my product they will be directed to a page that tells the subscriber that has opt in to check there email to obtain their free gift. Email gets sent and they get their free gift ( newbie guide to cpa).

My question is that I want to know what is the best way to promote my site to other amateur marketers to promote my site, and what would be the best way to word my self in promoting my site to others in threads.

    Sincerely,
    Mike Hammer

Look forward to hearing from you and to making a lot of money!

Sorry I think you asked this question in the wrong section. This sounds more like something for the main internet marketing section

I dont have enough experience with selling to internet marketers. But I would recommend asking questions in the main section get some ideas and strategies, buy some WSO's. But most importantly implement them and make at least a few thousand dollars before you try to sell any products. You cant sell others on how to do something you never did yourself. You MUST eat your own cooking! People here are too smart for that.

You will also want to become a War Room member and contribute to the forum and not just try to sell everyone stuff. I personally wont buy anything from a Warrior that doesnt have at least a few hundred posts but most of all they must have a good amount of "Thanked" in there profile. This lets me know that they are a contributor that gives value and nit just trying to talk the talk.

I think most newbies struggle with traffic generation. They can get an instant product and site from Clickbank, but getting targeted leads in the first place are daunting.

Most newbies start off by reading an ebook, setting up an autoresponder, setting up a one page site, offering a $20 ebook, setting up a blog, and have no idea as to how to get traffic to their pages.

Newbies try a strategy out once, and then becoming convinced that internet marketing sucks, they abandon the field altogether.

The trick is to remain diligent in your efforts, and you will see results at the end of the tunnel. What you learn in the ebooks are true - you just have to put them on steroids and implement the strategies on a higher level.

If i was a newbie, i would start off learning how to get traffic for free. Anybody can launch a PPC campaign, but not everyone knows how to turn this traffic into sales. And newbies also don't think about the lifetime value of a customer, so they don't know how far negative they can go when acquiring each new customer.

Start off working the free methods first, and once you've found success with that, then move on to paid advertising. You'll lower your quit rate in the internet marketing world.

I am always looking for cheap and free services that work. Its like duct tape marketing or guerrilla marketing. Alot of the times it works better than most paid services!

The hardest part for me is organizing my thoughts and trying to sit down and figure out exactly how I am going to sell local business owners, and even what to sell to the owners. My plan is to offer businesses with no website, a free website and then charge them for hosting and SEO, but for businesses that already have a website I don't know what to do.

I've been dipping my toes into SMS marketing so once I feel confident in my knowledge there, I will be approaching local restaurants with that.

But any tips on what to sell would be fantastic, thank you.

      Hey Dan,

I remember you mentioned that cold calling is a great way to sell your leased out site. Currently I have 2 created thanks to your Google love method and they are ranking well. I outsourced the email and phone collection to a person on Odesk. I'm wondering what a good script would be to offer the service also how would I go about closing the sale and direct the person to my pay pal link smoothly.

For example if I have an interested party that is 45 mins to an hour away and I do not want to drive how can I effectively close the sale over the phone.

Nothing to sell, only value to give and new knowledge to learn.

Start with people you know and who they know. Send out a facebook message to all your contacts, shoot an email to everyone you know, call connected people. Ask them "Who do you know that owns a business?" then call them and tell them that so and so recommended that you contact them to possible help them with some marketing. I have got so many clients using this method.

Dont try to do it all. Too many people mess this up! I hear about people claiming that they do like 20-30 different services. Unless you are seriously bi-polar then this will be tough to manage without a good team helping you.

What do you already know how to do and what do you like doing? Do that and team up with others that like to do other things. Now you guys can refer business to each other.

Thats so awesome and glad you got value and results from my product brother.

I personally hate scripts because they are just too canned and each call should be personalized and ready to adjust with the person you are talking to.

Just create an outline or points you want to make and questions you want to ask.

You might also want to think about hiring a sales person to make calls for you and pay a commission so you can keep creating more sites as the sales roll in. I wish I would have started with that tactic myself.

But if you are going to do the sales yourself, then make sure to have a site up getting that google love already and use that as an example. Tell them to take a quick look at the following search phrase in the google search bar and then they will see the results. Tell them that you can do the same for them at an affordable price/ investment or whatever you want to call it.

You can also use my honey approach mentioned in the bonus (my favorite).

Or team up with someone that already has a huge contact list and client base in the industry you are in. Now you refer business to each other. Just make sure that they arent in competition with you. For instance if I want to target Realtors, I can go to local photographers that work with realtors. Now we can refer business back and forth. The possibilities are endless!

Forget the old use this killer sales call script or email template that made me 1 billion dollars. I tried them all and never even got 1 client from them! Not even 1. I had sent out thousands of emails, mailers, and cold calls.

The 2 methods I gave away in the bonus tops them all! I used them in every business I have ever ran with amazing success!

Keep me posted on your results.

Actually I heard that its coming out by apple next year! lol...

The body doesnt need more than 4-5 hours of sleep a night. It cant process more than that. I learned this from Yogis and even tested it with the sleep tracker watch. The most sleep I tracked was between 3.5 to 4.5 hours in a night. So if you are sleeping 8 hours, then you just got 4 more hours in the day!

Go to sleep at 10pm and wake at 3 or 4 am.

I'm a doctor...well not a 'real' one like DrDan since he seems to know what's up here. here's my question: should my website be geared towards list building ( I have eight books and tons of info products to give away), or should my site focus on getting patients in the door? my list is up to 1500 online and 15,000 offline, looking for ways to generate revenue there... any advice is greatly appreciated!

Use videos, forums relating to your topic, classified ad sites etc. These all show up in the searches pretty fast and are usually high PR sites so they rank fast and well.

      Whats up Doc! lol..

I guess the answer would really depend on a few factors.

How responsive is the list of 1500 that you built? Are they buying from you? Are they coming in for appointments? If they are, then might be good to keep doing what you are doing.

If they are not, then you might want to focus more on getting them in the door and then keeping them coming back.

Also I would personally focus on getting referrals which is always the most powerful way to bring in new businesses.

I just got back from Vegas and had the opportunity to hang with Offline Marketing Legends. So... be on the look out for a new video series with myself and RockStarBen. We will probably leak a few of the videos soon.

After talking to one of the legends, I know of a really powerful strategy and system to bring in more revenue using your existing clients and a very simple mobile marketing strategy.

I cant say anything more since its his strategy and I have to wait until he launches it to the public. But all I can say... is that its pretty amazing!

More to come on that later...

Hey Dan, Have a question about Local Keyword Research, if I select a niche for example, Carpet Installation and then a long keyword like Discount carpet installation san diego will it help me get clients?

There are a lot of Yelp and other high authority sites in that keyword which is keeping me from going after it . Also, the GKT shows no results.

    Let me know. Thanks.
