Could someone please provide an effective postcard/letter sample with good ROI %? (Please!)

I KNOW there are some of you that have the key to a good post card or personalized letter to business owners that are killing it on the sales of your internet services!

Could you be so kind to put up an image below or details of your mailing to not only help myself, but other marketing warriors?

    I have to agree with both of you.

    The fact is they might have spent good money to have this done, not to mention testing etc. They won't just give it away on a thread.

        Sooo, you guys are saying that the free info and tips on the WF are non existant? I disagree.

        (ps-Stick to what our mothers teach us: "if you dont have anything nice to say, don't say it) LOL dont kill the thread for the rest of us!

        @TRekkiegirl: Thanks but not for $47 that's too much, there are plenty nice folks on here willing to share there successes FREE OF CHARGE one would like to continue to think...

          *raises an eyebrow* A $47 investment that can land you numerous clients for hundreds or thousands of dollars is too much? Hm.

          I'm not saying that there isn't free info available on the WF. There is, and lots of it.

          But sometimes an investment isn't a bad idea, either. Just sayin'.

          PS - I do not make a dime off of recommending Tim's stuff. I just know his stuff has worked for me, and he offers just what you were asking for.

            So out of how many postcards of his did you send out and what was your actual close rate?

            Im my opinion there's ALOTTTT of stuff people are selling that are common knowledge and 'SUPER HYPEY' not really my thing. Have tried a few and was let down

              And you are more willing to trust info that someone just posts on a forum?

              I actually use my own mailings, but my system is not for sale, nor am I going to give it away for free.

              I have used Tim's information (not this particular system, but others) to make money, so I am quite comfortable recommending this product. I have never found any info/system of Tim's to be sub-par.

              If you are only interested in free information, I would suggest checking out Tim's posts here, and his blog. He does give a great deal of info away for free.

    A good postcard is very general term.
    If letter A gets 20% CTRs and every other variation of A gets less than that then letter A becomes "THE CONTROL" piece

    You should be looking for the cotrol piece for your offer.....and sometimes they are not that readily available.
    You might be able to buy it from sources who sell controls.

      I agree with TrekkieGrrrl. Tim Castleman has a great Postcard Marketing program.

      And it's a steal at $47. (No, I m not his wife)

      Anything and everything can be found on the net. It comes down to what is your time worth? I bill out at $250 an hour to my clients. If it takes me an hour to hunt down this FREE information, then it cost me MORE THAN $250 because of lost opportunity costs.

      No thank you. I'll buy what I need so it can be implemented quickly and make me money immediately.

    This thread reminds me of the Monty Python Sketch where (the Brits?) come up with the funniest joke in the world ...so funny that if you hear it, you die laughing...so these guys in the foxhole were chucking this crumpled note with the translated joke into the enemy foxhole ( instead of a grenade)...

    Looking for some kind of magic sentence to put on your postcard isn't the best rout to take...the One Size Fits All model...has limits.

    Yeah there are some great general headlines...and you can start talking about numbers...measurement, and control - and make it all scientific...and yeah you'll get some consistent results. It is a numbers game in the end.

    But to get to the next levels...you have to leave the ridgidness of "well such and such guru said to do it this way, then do this, then do this, so we're not going to deviate.

    Its ok to deviate.

    To get to the next level you have to realize its not all about...what is a good headline to sell what I'm sellin....its just as much about who is reading it and what the situation is there. - and the more you try to make a postcard do the selling for you, the worse your response is going to be.

    In order to get someone to help you make a great postcard, those that could help you would need to know all the details of what you are doing.

    Creativity, imagination and outside the box solutions are the major components of the most successful formulas. - The gurus know this too...its just harder to turn it into one size fits all.

    Many people have recommended Tim Castleman to you....that should tell you something. I've never seen his postcard program. But given that he delivers on quality I expect that not only will you find your magic sentance, you'll find a proven way to implement it...and isn't that what you asking for?

    Here is a piece of knowledge that I use on my best projects. Implementing this in various ways knocks my response rates well above 25% regularly, now that I've finally figured out how to make it work consistently.

    "familiarity" - Vague I know...but that concept is a seed for a tree of gold

    The question is....if you could see actual examples of this being used in different ways for different companies would you pay $47 right now to see them?

    Of course, because thats when your brain has its ah-ha moment and runs with it.

    ...and thats why paying for information is most often better than free information


    I might just have to make a WSO after all.
