i am undecided which platform to use i am demoing trumpia with the free trial all i did was set up my own key word and had them do it from there phone than woolaa they dug it and understood it.

i am following a couple threads on help out on which platform to go with...

Nice work! Made a sale without deciding on a platform, pretty impressive!

Hopefully Trumpia get's the nod when you decide to make a decision on what platform to move forward with. Keep in mind, you can also sell email marketing to the pizza store also if they are currently using a service like Constant Contact or iContact since Trumpia offers email marketing as a supplement to mobile.

I'm a big proponent of Twilio. So far, we've found them to have outstanding pricing (2 cents per outgoing text with no monthly fee -- pay for the SMS only) and interfacing with their API is a breeze.

Does your client already have a good list of phone numbers to blast out these text messages to, or are you going to go over with him the best and most effective ways of encouraging customers to sign up with their phone numbers?

  Yes, it works. I just set up a pizza shop with an sms system last week, and another pizza shop owner (2 locations) called me this morning and I set up an appointment for Monday.
  
  Be prepared so they can join the text list and get the offer you set up for them right in front of you. Also, I have mine set up to where I can insert a date for the "coupon" to expire. They love it. I used a direct mail letter to a few pizza shops in my town and got 2 appts from it.
  
  The upsells should be pretty easy because none of these businesses have mobile sites, or are using QR Codes, etc. To prevent their eyes from glazing over however, I'm only targeting one tactic at first (sms) and educating them as time goes on.

  It would be great to a Call/Order Now-type link, taking customers directly to their mobile website (in which you build). Are you doing this yet?

  since this biz is a pizza place.... we are going to take stickers with there short code and key word on all existing in house advertisments that they already had printed like flyers menus any thing that a customer can leave with any new advertisment material they will add the short code... and i will be working with them on how to get in coming cutomers text to there short code
