Targeting Fan Page Prospects Through Facebook?
There has been a lot of noise about building Facebook pages for small businesses, and it seems to be very lucrative for those who have a handle on it. So, I was wondering has anyone actually gotten clients from direct contact through Facebook itself.
The process I'm visualizing is quite simple.
Look up some local fan pages, and send a message to the admins offering to upgrade their design. Include a link back to your own custom Facebook page that has a built-in ordering system. If they're interested, they can submit their details and place an order right there. No waiting for them to cool off...grab the sale while they're hot!
Or, here's another approach, and one that I think will yield far better results.
Look up some local fan pages, and setup a demo for each of them. The demo doesn't have to be complicated; maybe a screenshot of the design they could have would suffice. At least this way, you remove the "risk" for the business owner. And while it will take more time with this method, it might be more effective.
