Yes, I know probably 90% of businesses out there have a website, but I am looking for a way to find that other 10% that doesn't...Anybody have any solid ways/methods to find them?? Any help would be great, thanks!

      • You could go around town and just look for the smaller buisnesses that most likely don't have their own website. Hope this helps.

    I just got to know about Manta.

    It gives you a list of small businesses mostly with just phone numbers and no websites stated.

    Another good thing about Manta is you get the names of the owners which makes things slightly easier if you decide to cold call

    Google Places is a great place as well as small local newspapers. Check out and see who is advertising in there and if they have a website.

    Also, I believe the statistic is that 40% of small business have no online presence whatsoever. See that's 4 times as many businesses than you originally thought that don't have a website. Should be like shooting fish in barrel! haha Don't forget too that some businesses might have a website, but its horribly ugly and they'll want to re-do it.

        If you go to your local chamber or local sba business directory sites, you would not believe how many businesses listed there have no websites. I have found that if you do an online search for your local directories of business, you will have a great source of free listings of good prospects. They are motivated to get new business and what a great way to introduce your offline services.

    It's unbelievable in 2011 that around 50% of businesses don't have a website. Common excuses I get;

    -"We don't need one, we have enough business"
    -"We don't see the point in having a website"
    -"We don't have a computer" (how a business operates without a computer is beyond me)

    Plenty of fish in the sea and if someone like me, no sales experience and shutters at the word "No" anyone can sell websites. It's amazing after you get one, the snow ball really starts to roll down the hill
