Offline Campaign Collaboration Thread
I just had a great idea, at least I think its great. I was just finishing up a campaign to acquire some new clients when I thought of it.
My idea is to use this thread to design a campaign using everyone's input. I think this will be a fun experiment and hopefully it will produce a killer campaign everyone can use to acquire some new clients.
I am still a noob at this, so right now I am targeting local businesses only. I will try and make this noob friendly so everyone who is starting out can benefit from this as well.
Ok, so the first thing we have to decide on is what method(s) to use. I think we should rule out direct mail for this experiment as it can be a big risk for those just starting out.
I'll give us a starting point, here is the structure of the campaign I was working on:
Objective: Obtain new clients for my SMS marketing service
Target: Local Clubs/Bars
Initial Lead Generation: Google'd "yourcity clubs" "yourcity bars"
1. Call each business to conduct a short 2 minute survey. After the survey offer them a free report (email or hard copy) on how they can get more customers as a thank you to them.
2. Create or find a report, include a sales letter of your services in the email or hard copy.
3. One week after sending report, contact businesses and confirm that they received it. Ask what they thought if they have read it. "Sell" a free face to face consultation.
4. At face to face, sell the SMS marketing service.
This is the structure I designed. I don't mind just tweaking it or trashing it and starting over.
Post anything you think we should add or change and hopefully we will end up with very profitable campaign everyone can use.
