Hi everyone... looking for some sound advice from the WF here. Scenario is i'm just starting out in local offline marketing for SMB's and i am not interested in offering 1 time services. I only want to offer services that can be billed for on a continuous monthly basis. Let me pose a few questions:

What are the most common and valuable services you offer to your clients that you bill for on a monthly basis?

How do you get the word out initially of the services you offer?

What process or strategy would you put in place to get clients contacting you?

    I’m just starting out myself in Mobile Marketing. I’m going to offer my clients SMS Text Marketing and Mobile Website Design. I’ll offer upgrades once I get the client on board and running. There will be an initial setup fee and a monthly fee for both services.


    Since I’m new to this, I’ll be trying different ways to acquire clients. Cold calling, Face-to-Face, Fliers, etc. Going to try different ways and see what works best for me.


    Always in the learning stage so I’m going to keep an eye on what the ‘wise warriors’ have to say.

    For my clients, i build a 3-5 page website for them. I write their ads and direct mail pieces. And i implement a backend marketing strategy for getting more new sales, and also for reactivating dormant customers.

    To get the word out, i use the internet, postcards, and ads in my local newspaper. I start with a free offer, and then after they respond, send them my direct mail package with the free offer inside. Also, inside the direct mail package, i include a pitch of my services along with testimonials and case studies.

    To get new clients to contact me, i ask my existing clients for referrals. I tell them that in return for getting me a new client, i will give them a gift of some sort (ex: a free advertising or marketing critique). I could do more than just offer referrals, but unfortunately... i am wayy too lazy for that.
