Anyone know of an Automated Direct Mail Service for letters (not postcards)?

What I'm looking to do for a client is have every new client receive a welcome letter, a follow-up letter 2 weeks later, and then 3 months later.

This will be in combination with an email follow-up series, but will also ensure that new clients receive messages (where as not ALL emails are always opened)

But I'm not sure if there's a company that exists (at least that services Canadians) that allows for one letter to be sent out at a time (as opposed to a minimum number of quantities)...

Anyone know of (or use) one?

Have tried any CMS software solutions such as ACT? It will generate letters in timed frequencies that you should be able to closely coordinate with any autoresponder (or Outlook). Just a thought until you find a full service provider.

I've been looking for a service like this myself, most of the companies I find only offer bulk mailing options.

Ya, the business has a built-in CRM for that task, the problem is that currently the owner is paying one of his staff to manually send out a follow-up email to each client etc.

I'd like to automate this task (not only to save money, but also for easier scalability as the business as grows)

I know Infusionsoft can be configured to automatically send out an email to a 3rd party fulfillment center for certain tasks, but that would still only be the CRM aspect of things--I'm more interested in the "fulfillment" side.

Almost like how a business can automate their CRM with Kunaki to be able to send out single CD's/DVD's to customers etc....y'know?

You might be able to do it with click2mail.com. They seem to have good prices and the ability to do this (I think). Good luck!

I haven't used them, but have been aware of click2mail for years and it's probably the ideal solution if you want to send letters or postcards.

If they're looking for something a little nicer than just a letter and want to send greeting cards or gifts, I've been a send out cards user for years and they do a great job allowing you to schedule a series of mailings in advance for any number of clients.

I know everything they send in the US comes out of UT, but not sure if mail going to Canada gets mailed from there too or postmarked somewhere in Canada.

    Cheers,

    Steve

Hi Steve, ya SOC uses USA flags for stamps when shipping to Canada, possibly not a big deal since a lot of people buy gifts from the USA these days, but I also need the ability to just send a "followup letter" which would be written like an actual letter.

    A great idea though!

lol - I hadn't thought about the stamps, but maybe that would make the mailing stand out even more and ensure it got opened?

My only grip with them is regular mail takes a few days to get to the east coast of the country here, so for immediate thank you's or condolence cards it's not the ideal solution, but for everything else where timing isn't critical, I love 'em.

Was just looking at the click2mail site and while they do have some neat features SOC lacks, like email to mail for example, they cost to print/mail one letter looks to be about double SOCs cost for one card unless you're mailing 100 or more at a time.

      HTH,

      Steve

Filemaker Pro and Click2Mail's Email to Mail API seems easily doable.

TELL NO ONE ELSE ABOUT THIS.
