I see this is about a month old so I hope this info is still relevant. I have been with Adking and they are a good group of people. The price is very attractive so you have a nice profit margin. They have always been responsive and in general good to work with.

However, the system is not a true SMS system and it lacks many of the features that you may desire and are offered by other white labels. For example, There is no way to manually upload mobile numbers to the system nor can you install a widget on a site to collect numbers.

You really end up having to pitch it as a "Mobile VIP Club" because the only way your clients can get opt-ins is through a double opt in process. The good thing is that no one can accuse your client of spam which is something that we always mentioned.

Also, with most other SMS platforms you send a keyword to a shortcode. With the Adking system you must choose a domain like texteznow.org. They will build a site for you that is a template site. It really can't be changed or even optimized for search. We had to build a totally different site. When you setup a client they get a "keyword." The "shortcode" is through "dotorg" or 368674 on a phone's keypad. So in this case a Pizza place might advertise join the Mobile VIP Club by sending "texteznow pizza" to 368674.

The customer will get an option of 1) receiving the current offer or 2) get the offer and subscribe to updates. It was something like that. I really would have liked to be able to create our own initial messages. Your customers will be able to send messages and that's about it. Your clients don't even have access to any specific customer info and so you can not "port" a client's database of customers over to a new platform.

Other systems are feature rich. Many of these systems offer appointment tools, QR codes, mobile polling, social media plugins, text-to-win, Questionnaires, location-based technology, the ability to send sms on a sheduled date and time, the ability to create many keywords, the flexibility of being able to "sign-up" in person, over a PC or through a mobile phone.

I have nothing negative to say about Adking. There system does work. This was the first platform that we started with and we learned very quickly that our system could not do many of the things that our competition could do. So we stopped selling it as a text message marketing platform and we called it a "Mobile VIP Club." The other systems might seem pricey but in my opinion you typically do get what you pay for.

I hope this helps anyone reading this.

Another important change Adking has made is that they no loger brand the keyword to your site. They now only allow you to use the keyword "txtrs" plus your clients keyword.

For example, if DMagnet had joined Adking today, his setup could no longer be:
      "texteznow pizza" to 368674

it would now have to be:
      "txtrs pizza" to 368674

Everyone who signs up with Adking now must use the "txtrs + keyword" setup for all new clients.

      That presents 2 new problems:

He would no longer be branding his site name and now there could only be 1 Pizza keyword available, which means the next pizza company would have to use a different keyword.

I guess that might be a good option for someone that has a long website name, but they should give the option of using your domain name or theirs.

      Hope that makes sense,

      Dennis

I looked at 30+ SMS suppliers before choosing my white label. I definitely wanted true SMS short code not long code. I work with lots of restaurants that need to send thousands of texts out immediately all of the long code smtp routed suppliers will have restrictions from 100 to maybe 500 messages per hour max to try and fly under the radar and not have their messages blocked. Our platform is very robust with features like, mobile coupons, mobile ads, qr code generator, appt setter, polling, and sweepstakes, and everything is integrated with Facebook and fully tracked. No licensing fees and true texts at only .01-.015. Try the platform for free at seattlemobilesolutions dot com or email me on my website and I can get you your own white label. Check it out and beat your competition.

Yes I am using Lime. I have been really happy with the support, pricing, and their great platform. True white label with platform access for my clients and unbranded video tutorials and knowledgebase so I can direct clients there if need be.

        Hey Jeffrey:

It seems I found your posts just in time. I was about to buy 1,000 app licenses from Adking to set up my own business. Just like you I googled Adking reviews and nothing came up. But somehow I found this forum and I'm so glad I did.

I just wanted to ask you if you did indeed go with Adking or another white label and what kind of experience you had with them. I have been trying to get references from them, but of course that is a dead end.

        Thank you in advance.

I have used it very recently and i am very disappointed. I had to leave them. It seems that these guys are not ready, and they have ABSOLUTELY no customer service at all.
It's a bunch of nice talk in order to sell.
