Have you considered listing your business on Google maps? I looked up similar businesses in my area and only found one. I think it is one of the important steps to do as you establish yourself within your area.

  • Actually yopu would be referring to what they are now calling Google Places (formerly (google Local) I find numerous local businesses with their own sites that don't rank anywhere in the top 10 pages of standard search, yet their local page listing shows up on page one and clicking on the main link provided goes to the business site that otherwise would be far out of sight.

    Teaching a company the value of enhancing their Google Places listing can be a good way to get your foot in the door.

    • didn't google changed the algo of google places so that companies which have a homepage that ranks high will also be arking higher in GP? alteast that would be fair...
