The BEST Fanpage Creation Software

Greetings,

In your opinion, what is the very BEST software for creating Fanpages for local businesses? I'm looking for ease of use and it has to create FANtastic looking Fanpages!

I've come across Jason Fladlien's WP FanPro, Phil Henderson's Simple WP4FB Pages and FB X-Tab (monthly fee) - to name a few.

Also, does it make sense to outsource, and if so, where and whom? Could one pay Social Media Saint the $55 and then flip the Fanpage for $197? Any thoughts, please?

    I'd rather hire someone to create one for me rather than use one of those services that charge a monthly fee. What exactly happens to your Fan Page should you decide to no longer use their service? Let me guess. It disappears. Pay someone to do it for you and it's yours forever.

    if you use simply your mind then you can create them very easily using FBML, Iwapia, and tabsites

      FBML is being phased out in favor of iframes. We are designers and use notepad++ for creating pages from scratch. However if you have no skill in HTML and want to focus on sales (I recommend you do) just find someone to make the pages for you.

      At $55 dollars cost and $197 sales price your numbers look like this:

      Gross Profit* $ 142.00
      Gross Profit 72.08 %
      Markup 258.18 %

      Even if you pay your sales person a 20% commission off the top, your numbers are:

      Gross Profit* $ 102.60
      Gross Profit 52.08 %
      Markup 108.69 %

      52% Profit is nothing to be ashamed of. Just make sure whoever does your pages is capable of delivering on time.

    I been thinking about outsourcing.... I have a bunch of WSOs and have tested them but really do I want to sit there making fan pages for people or even paying monthly to somebody else just to host when I have my own... I believe pay somebody else take a little off the top. Try and get the PSDs so that if you need to edit something you can do it yourself or just pay somebody to do it and of course cut some off the top. make 10% or 50% really you didn't do anything in the first place.

    Right now we are using FanPage Engine because it is simple and it makes great looking pages. But I agree with Suanne. I'd rather we find another solution. This product has an annual fee not monthly but they just raised their prices for the 3rd time this year.

    I used fanpageengine to create 2 of my pages. It was easier than i thought. They now have iframe engine which i will be using in the near future.

    Agree with a number of the above posts. Go with outsourcing, build a relationship with your designer/developer and you will see great results.

    Question for everyone that keeps saying FB pages are using iFrames...

    Does that mean we can just have a regular web page built on our own site, and then FB will iFrame the content of that page into the FB page?
