Asking for suggestions/help to market my employer and a new product.....

Hey guys,

The company that I currently work for is going to start selling a particular cellular service, which is a "value based" product. (Cheap.) While it would be good for a good sized market share of the population, in all honesty, it'd be real popular with the lower income/cash paying customers.

What are some non-traditional(cheap) ways that I could market it in this area? There are 2 other dealers in this area who are "knocking it out of the park," but we are the only one on the side of town we are on. I am already thinking about designing a door hanger type thing and going door hanging myself, and putting my name/number on it.)

What are some other ways that I could use to draw traffic? I looked online today and saw that there were zero monthly searches for (This cellular Provider) and (My town.) If there had been any activity, I would have gotten the site and just promoted myself.

From what I understand, this is going to be "my baby," and I want to do as good for 2 reasons:
1. I get paid a small commission for each sale
2. I really want to take care of the company I work for, they have been good to me.

Thanks for any ideas.

Oh, if it helps, I am in small-medium sized town, not a major metropolis by any means.

Thanks.
Jeremy

Infiltration is your best bet. If your competitors are doing that well, find out what they are doing, then do it in your area.
